This was a decent series with very short episodes and very green actors. Obviously with the subject matter, this was a low budget production but I can rank it accordingly taking that into account given that a show about a dom isn't mainstream TV, even if it makes it to Netflix. Since the episodes are so short, I'd recommend it, though I suggest taking it in as a it was intended, which is a lighthearted comedy.

Meh.

Yeah, this is my shortest show review and that one word sums up the series for me. I watch it in the summer when there is nothing else on TV while cleaning my house. It has some pretty great moments but those are few and far between, so "meh" fits.

The advertising for this show was great and the show itself was decent but not quite as good as I'd hoped. Of course it was expected to be a limited series given that the lead actors are mostly off doing films but I do wish it had continued into other seasons because it seemed there was more that could have been done with this plot.

I'm late to this party but as they say: "Better late than never." This is a great show and I enjoy the ongoing mini-storytelling from episode to episode, some of which continues between seasons. There was a fair amount of suspense in the first season that made me an instant fan.

Are they no longer requiring young adult actors to have the ability to act? I've seen child actors with better skill than most of the cast. So why did I keep watching? The plot is actually pretty decent and I keep hoping the acting will improve. It's one thing for a show to have one or two weak actors but with this show is it about 80% of the cast who need to take acting lessons... I hope they weren't paid much.

Yet another reason why I'm cancelling my Netflix account.

This was a pretty mixed offering but fortunately everyone has different tastes so there should be something for everyone to love. The one thing I don't like in comedy is self depreciating humour by a comic who clearly has low self esteem and believes what they are saying, so that made one of the comics unfunny to me. Out of the six, my favourite was Aida Rodriquez, I'd pay to see her headline her own show.

After watching the first season of this show my first impression was "WTF was that?!?!" and not in a good way. Admittedly, after the first episode I'd pigeon holed it into a show that I could stream in the background of my house while I was doing chores and listen to while multitasking. When season 2 took forever to come I'd forgotten what season 1 was like so I watched the very final episode and found that I wanted to re-watch season 1... then the weirdest thing happened... I fell in love with the show. I watched season 2 and it was awesome (as was the first on second watch). This show does require your full attention when watching in order to see the big picture and I do wish it wasn't cancelled as you can see from the ending of season 2 that season 3 would have been amazing.

I'm reviewing this after just watching the finale (no spoilers) and I'm surprised I hadn't already. This was a well-produced and directed show with a wonderful cast of great actors. The storytelling is quite unique and puts a very interesting spin on the X-Men franchise. While the X-Men can be thought of more as a superhero franchise, this would be more of a drama with tiny bits of comedy and thriller while being a sort of prequel to aspects of X-Men. I highly recommend this, it was a consistently good show throughout all seasons.

I really enjoyed this show and wish it had been renewed for season 2. I thought the plot was great and although the acting was weak in some areas, there were those actors who made up for the shortfall from the others.

I watched this solely for Giancarlo Esposito, despite the fact that it shows he's only in four episodes so far. The production value is high, the quality of acting is great but unfortunately this plot has been done a million times. I was hoping that this show may have a different take on this old trope, but after the first episode it seems like the same old same but even worse is that there hasn't been much character development yet the episode seemed like it went on for far too long.
My standards are much higher when it comes to show that are marketed as high quality dramas (versus filler shows) and this doesn't meet my expectation. I may stop watching after Giancarlo's final episode or maybe there will be enough reason for me to continue to watch by then.
