This seemed like it would have been such a good show but so many things just weren't right. The lead actress seems rather green and there was little character development such that when a character was put in peril I really didn't care one way or the other. Another issue was the predictability of certain episodes. Casting overall was poor, the actresses playing the mother and daughter are only eleven years apart and it shows. I also wasn't sure what accent they were trying to do given the location of the characters but that was pretty poor too.

This is a decent show but despite a strong cast it is unfortunately too predictable and formulaic.

The fact that even 1% of this is true is astounding. I recall hearing about the true story in the news years ago and thinking WTF? Sure, HULU has taken quite a few liberties with their dramatic license, but the facts are just as crazy. The actors did a great job because I was sufficiently creeped out.

I enjoyed the movie so I thought I'd check out the TV show. Meh. This ended up being something that I let play while I was cleaning my house or otherwise multitasking. It's one of those shows that you use for background noise when the house is too quiet. It's not horrible, but it's not very good either.

High production value, well acted, but horrible plot. If we take the story for what it is, it's just not very original or compelling.... governments can do some pretty bad stuff... They tried to make it SEEM more interesting by playing with the sequence of events and changing the aspect ratio but it just wasn't as avant garde as they were trying to make it seem. Oh, and Julia Robert's wig was cheap. If they had such a big budget why did they but such a cheap wig?

This is one of those shows where it is best to know nothing about it before watching. I suppose that is not hard because I didn't see any marketing efforts for this show, I was simply searching for something new and recommended online and came across this. I won't give anything away. It isn't the funniest show you'll ever watch, but it is a decent time-filler and has some good funny moments while simultaneously being a bit dark at times. If you watch episode one and think that was the plot twist, give episode two a chance before you make a decision on whether to move forward.

I watched the first episode and it was boring AF. What a waste of talent. On a good note, my grandparent would have loved this.

I remember being quite disappointed when this show was cancelled back in the day because it was such an interesting and unique take on the Terminator movies. But then again, if this show became a success and continued on, who would play Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones? Surely only Lena Hedley could do justice to both roles in both shows.
It is certainly worth a re-watch a decade later, it holds the test of time, though I still think that Thomas Dekker is completely miscast as John Connor, he's painfully unsuited for this role. Perhaps if they had a better actor in that role the show would have survived.

This is a great legal drama and if you're Canadian, it is available to stream live or on demand at the CBC website. I do wish we were able to give stars based upon plot, acting and production. The plot is as good as any other legal drama, and while I'm not a fan of the U.S. based legal dramas, this Canadian show is also set in Canada and it is nice to see the very huge distinction between the way the Canadian legal system works versus the States. I know it is only TV, but my profession has put me in courtrooms in both countries (which is why I don't watch legal dramas) and there is a marked difference that is refreshing to see on TV. They are even using using two Nova Scotia lawyers as consultants, one of whom works in legal aid, which ads to the realistic outcome of the cases (unlike U.S. legal dramas that use legal consultants yet seem to ignore their advice in order to present something more scintillating).

As for acting, the lead role of Marcy played by Vinessa Antoine is a strong lead and a 5/5, but the rest of the cast ranges between 3 to 4 stars, even Natasha Henstridge is only a 4/5 in terms of acting and she's usually pretty good.

The budget is drastically low, I know this not because I'm an insider, but because I have eyes. This show looks slightly higher budget than the old Canadian shows from my childhood that you could tell in the first minute were Canadian made and produced. That's a shame because the show is really good and well worth the watch. I really enjoy watching it and highly recommend it.

Wow, I'm really impressed with DC's latest offerings. First Titans, which I thought was great and now Doom Patrol, which dare I say seems to be better than Titans? Well, so far so good! Great cast and each of the back stories were told with such heart, quite unexpected. I'm looking to see how the rest of the season unfolds.
