Only watched the first episode. And even though the case was very interesting, the episode was too drawn out. I don't like the format. Didn't get any further than that one episode.
I just finished both seasons and I am kind of at a loss for words. Which doesn't happen very often. The show is very, very good. It gives a clear view at the work of the Resistance during WW II. At what they risked and the work they did. The characters are drawn very clear and very believable. And I like the fact that they, for the most part, are using German actors to play the Germans. It makes it even more realistic.
I am not a big fan of war movies and/or shows. There are very few exceptions. This is one of them.
I am not sure this is my kind of show. It sounded interesting, but I can't really get into it. I watched part of the pilot episode but to me it seems more like Reality TV. And that is just not my cup of tea. Sorry.
It is a good show, but I can see where they only had that one season. It would have been nice to see more, but it was okay the way it is and it had a good ending. I can live with that.
After only watching the first episode I can say this is awesome! Now that I have watched the whole season, I cannot wait for the next season to find out what is going to happen next.
I love the characters and I love the main storyline - con-man falling for his mark and having to leave her, ending up playing a cat-and-mouse-game. They played that out really well but there could have been twice as many episodes. There was more than enough room to play out the story.
Now I am excited for the next season to find out how the story continues. Ben's sacrifce at the end was despite everything, kind of unexpected. And even though she is a bitch, Margot is kind of growing on me. She is the perfect "bad guy" - bad to the bone, but still kind of likable.
I loved it! It is a great new telling of an old tale.
It has all the classic characters of the original story but they have a new background. DG is named after her great-great-great-grandmother, the original Dorothy Gale. And this is her story, not Dorothy's. And it is being told brilliantly. I like the sub-story about the Tin Man, too.
I binge-watched the whole thing on a day off and it was great!
It is okay, but I can see why it was cancelled after only 8 episodes.
The basic idea is okay, but the way it is played out not so much. The acting is absolutely atrocious. And it feels more like a daily soap then a weekly show. I have only watched 4 episodes but I know I will not finish it.
It's not Indiana Jones but in their own way they are totally awesome! I might be biased because I really like Noah Wyle, but he plays Flynn Carsen just really, really well. Totally love those movies, even though the first one is probably the best out of all three. Love the series they made out of it, too. And especially the fact that he has a recurring role in it, too ♥
It was a very modern but very good take on the classic Wonderland story. Hence the reference toward the beginning about the last Alice having been there about 150 years ago. It included all the main characters but in different ways and it wasn't geared towards kids but definitely an adult fairy tale.
I really liked how the story was told and I especially liked the twist at the end were Alice did not fall for the handsome prince but for the (not really mad) Hatter. Who played a more important role than the prince anyway.
It's a really good show. I just got off binge-watching the original "Primeval" and watched this right after. So, yeah, there will be a lot of comparing but still, it is a really good show in it's own right. Especially for a spin-off. Too bad, it got cancelled. I would really like to know why.
This was really good sci-fi and should have been able to draw enough viewers for at least 2-3 more seasons. And leaving the ending open like that really sucked. I liked that Connor from the original "Primeval" showed up twice. That would definitely have been worth building on.
