Didn't quite rock my world. Started watching because of all the hype and I might continue at some point - but wasn't quite what I had imagined.
LOVE THIS SHOW! Used to watch it as a kid and I always wished, I could call them up to solve my problems as well. Murdoch is still one of my fave characters and I used to have such a crush on "Face" (didn't we all?)
Don't you love it when a plan comes together?
What can I say other than this show is aweseom! I love it!
10 min into the first episode and I was hooked. Great characters, very believable and very real. Great actors. It pulls you right in and won't let you go. Reminds me a bit of "Justified". Really excited I found this show.
It started out pretty good but for some reason it got really predictable and boring within the first few episodes. Just didn't catch me.
The characters are good, especially Martin Sheen, but the story just didn't bring it.
Awesome series! Not made for kids, though. This is most definitely the grown-up version. But so worth watching!
Great characters and great character developement. They do not just focus on them as a group or on a single character (in this case Dick Grayson) as a leader but everybody gets their own story and it gets told. Which makes the story as a whole even better.
It has a decent story line but it is not rocking my world. Just another PI show - and there are better ones out there that are more fun to watch. I guess the show and I just don't have the right chemistry.
To just say this show is awesome does not begin to cover it.
Do not expect a show about heroes in the way that we are used to. They are misfits, rejects, anty-heroes that do not even like themselves. They fight everyday problems just like everybody else. What makes them special is that they fight! Their stories are wonderfully told. There is so much attention to detail in those stories. They unfold slowly and you are with them every step of the way. The actors are great and Diane Guerrero is sublime. They ARE the characters that they are portraying. They are perfect in their imperfection.
This show is a crazy mix of therapy sessions at a seriously freaked out psych facility and everybody's favorite comedy. It finds the perfect balance of those two in every damn episode. You cannot help but root for them. It makes you laugh, it makes you cry, it makes you shake your head and wonder what you have gotten yourself into. But it is freaking awesome!
The show just did not do it for me. I don't know what I was expecting, but I don't think this was it. Just not my thing.
Pretty good show, really liked it!
It was a bit slow in the beginning but it really picked up and the first season had a good finale.
I have been holding off on writing this review. But after watching 7 episodes I can say it is not as good as it was made out to be. It is okay but that's about it. It had kind of a good start but it got pretty boring after that and it has been dragging.
The story is kind of lame and the acting isn't all that great either. At this point, I am not sure I am going to finish watching this show because it feels like a chore - and that's not the point.
