It was pretty good but with only two episodes unfortunately too short. There could have been a lot more that could have been done with this.
I would like to see this picked up and made into a series like Daredevil or Gotham. There seems to be a "revival" going on with all the "old" DC and Marvel Comics. Why not do the same with The Phantom?
Just isn't my kind of thing, I guess. Didn't even finish the first episode.
It's a decent show but nothing that really rocks my world.
I can't really say too much after only watching the pilot episode. I want to keep at it because I like Batman and the other characters. But I think I need to give it some time before I watch it because I just got done binge watching the entire two seasons of Gotham. There is no way this is going to measure up to it - especially so close after watching it.
I made it a little bit past the half-way point of the first season when I gave up on the show. Just didn't move me. It's been on the list to be picked up again later. Might just do that during the summer.
I didn't even make it to the end of the first season. It was just to convoluted for me. It's just not my kind of show.
It's good, but even after watching the whole first season I am not sure if I like it or not.
It starts out like a typical fairy tale about magic. And then it takes quite a few twists and turns and nothing ever is what it seems and nobody is really good or bad.
I decided that I don't like it and quit the show.
Didn't even make it through the pilot. The plot sounded good or I wouldn't have started watching, but the making was a bit tedious. I just didn't catch on to it.
After only watching the first episode, I was hooked. This is awesome! I have always like the Batman-Movies and I have watched all of them.No matter when they were made, they all start with the death of Bruce Wayne's parents and the next thing you know, he is a grown man and turning into Batman.
This show finally shows the time in between. It shows the young boy struggling with the death of his parents, trying to adjust and laying the groundwork for the man he is going to become. And it shows all the other characters, I don't want to call them villains, because some are actually really likeable. It shows how they all started out and what happened to make them into the people they are in the movies.
Two seasons so far and hopefully many more to come!
The first time I saw Catherine Bell on TV was as Major Sarah MacKenzie in "J.A.G.". Her image as tough as nails naval investigator stuck with me until I saw her as Denise Sherwood in "Army Wives". That role did not seem to fit her. At least in my eyes.
Now seeing her in "Good Witch" I have to say - I love it! She fits the role. This is her. I have never watched the movies (but I am going to do so now) and I have just started watching the show. But I already like it.
This show is so Hallmark Channel - but in a really good way. It is a nice counterpart to all the Vampire Action, Legal Drama and Crime Mysteries I am usually watching.
Keep this going, at least for a while! People need this kind of show :-) I know, I do.
