Really liked the show, but didn't agree with Peter dying. And I hate when they conclude a show with such an open end.
I really like this show. Better than NCIS: Los Angeles. I like the characters better and the way they interact.
WOW! I was hooked from the very first episode. Good acting, great characters and a storyline that has you coming back for more! Totally binge-worthy!
It was all a bit confusing because it kept jumping back and forth on the time line without warning. And the story line just did not catch me.
Didn't even finish the first episode because it was so tedious to watch while having to read the subtitles.
This show is getting better with every season! When I saw that there was a show to sequel these amazing movies and that the actual actors from the movies were playing in it - I was more than just excited! I am old enough to have watched all the movies when they came out and to now see the young faces superimposed over the current ones. And I love every minute of this show.
The third season is THE BEST so far because it includes a serious trip down memory lane. I don't want to spoiler anything - just watch.
For fans of the Karate Kid this is a must watch!
This show is a mix of "The man who would be Bond" and a good British period drama. It is not about superheroes but all about the man who will become a loyal friend and servant to Bruce Wayne.
I really like the story of how Alfred Pennyworth came to be. The only show that ever alluded to the time Alfred spent in the Army is "Gotham". And that was also the first Alfred that was not just a faithful and loyal butler, but a person on its own. Here we see the beginning of this person.
The story line is great, the characters are awesome and very defined. The acting is perfect and it draws you all right in.
There are all those different characters that might not make sense in the beginning but as the story unfolds, so do the characters and their "small" stories become an integral part of the "big"story. Alfred Pennyworth and Thomas Wayne meet in the very first episode but their story together does not take off until later. Which is not a bad thing because we get to know Alfred better. And this show is about him, after all.
I really hope that there will be a couple of more seasons to come.
It has a very mature content so it is definitely not for an audience below 18. Keep that in mind.
As much as I hate having to say this, but this show is not what I expected and this is not meant in a good way. From the synopsis I expected something hardcore, kind of like Blacklist. Not a bad re-make of Castle.
Alan Cummings is great. And I would love to see more of Whoopi Goldberg. But the rest of the cast isn't all that great and the stories are mediocre at best. It has it's funny moments but they are all due to Alan Cummings. And he is the only reason I am watching this. But it is nothing more than something to fill space when there is nothing else on.
I would not be surprised if this got canceled after the first season. Sorry to say, but it wouldn't be a great loss.
