Awesome show. Really awesome. And I cannot believe they canceled this show after only two, very short, seasons. There are so many possibilities where this show could have gone, so many story lines that could have been explored. This really, really sucks.
It starts out kind of confusing and it stays that way. The story line is very confusing and not very clear. Even after watching 4 episodes I am still a bit confused about what the hell is going on. I finally found the red thread to lead me through but it all seems a bit disjointed. I just couldn't stay focused on the show.
The only highlight is Bill Skarsgard.
This just did not push me off my chair. It started very confusing and went from there to boring. Sorry. Watched maybe the first 15 min of episode 1 and then broke it off.
The Gates - a place where not matter who you are or what you are can try to make a home.
It's a different twist on the supernatural. Less horror, less gore, more soap. But a good watch. Somehow, it still works.
After three episodes, I can say that I really like this show. It had a bit of a confusing start, trying to get all the characters and their supernatural status straight. But a few episodes into it, you get the hang of it.
I thought it would at least get a few more seasons, it did have potential. But I guess it was not enough of the horror and gore to keep it going with the rest of the supernatural shows.
I am on episode 7 of (unfortunately, only) 13 and I am so hooked! This show is awesome! I can't believe there is only that one season. The story line is really good and definitely believable. The actors are good (love Marg Helgenberger) and they play off each other really well. They make the story believable.
It is really too bad they discontinued this show. It had some real potential.
Well, it is okay, but I can see why it did not get any more episodes, not talking about a second season. Some of the acting was just plain awful and the story line . . . well, it could have been better.
Michelle Ryan was just too soft and too girl-next-door to be believable as Bionic Woman. And, in my opinion, they killed Will off too early. The love story between Will and Jamie would have at least brought some life into this.
I only made it to episode 3 out of the 8. I just could not keep watching.
Sorry, I made it to the mid-season finale but only because of the major crossover they were doing. But it wasn't even worth that one. The shoe-in into the crossover was totally not necessary. At all.
This hole show is just awful. For a while there, the only reason I was watching was Rachel Skarsten as Alice. She is awesome. But even she cannot carry the whole show on her own. The writing is bad, the acting is beyond awful and Ruby Rose is totally not believable as Batwoman.
Two stars because you have to give ONE and the second goes to Rachel Skarsten.
It was okay, but I just couldn't get into it. Watched the first three episodes and then quit.
It started out really good and with a nice little twist on the classic three-some of Arthur, Lancelot and Guinevere. But it got kinda boring there pretty fast. And I think that was the problem. It was moving to fast. There was not real time to develop the characters and their stories. Watching this almost 10 years after its release it feels like it was really rushed because they knew it wasn't going to last and they were trying to cramm as much story into every episode as possible. Too bad, because it feels like their was some potential.
Really good show! I am impressed, I thought this was going to turn out to be one of those teenie-shows and I would end up being bored out of my mind within the first two episodes. Far from it! It really got to me.
Great cast, great story - definitely worth watching it! One of the better Netflix shows.
