How do I love thee, Television, let me count the ways. I simply love television and all the possibilities the medium contains. Be it mini series, long arcs in drama series or clutching my stomach from laughing at the antics in a sitcom. I'm especially down for a some dramatic comedy or comedic drama. I'm amazed by web series and floored over consistent character development. I have a deep love for British series, flawed characters and one hit wonders among other things.
This show is delightful. The whole set up and feel of it is just perfect. I love how the stories are independent of each other and yet seamlessly tells the story of all the people that exists. It is great at painting picture of the people it portrays with visuals and character traits, so the stories doesn't need a ton of background to make sense. Just great.
Refreshing and brash in all the right ways. Michaela Coel is delightful in her outlandishness and I am in awe of her physical comedy skills. Despite the hi-jinks this show is quite honest and just wicked funny.
Short and sweet, this show is super funny and doesn't take itself seriously at all. I love all the inner monologues and numerous meet cutes of the first season and the expansion of the world in the second season with more characters and interactions. Extra shout out to the 99 Cents Store.
If you don't like people over-analysing and discesting pop culture, then this show is not for you. But if you do, then this might just be right up your wheelhouse. The interplay between our intrepid heroes is great and watching them evolve and yet stay the same over the years and many dinner time arguments is only adding to the general nitpicking of television and movies. I rewatch my favourite episodes again and again.
This could have gone wrong in many ways, but the writers did a marvellous job of making it realistic and at the same time compelling television. Great storytelling and acting across the board. This little family is messy, but they love each other and I can't wait to see what's next.
Nope. I did not like this concept at all. I normally like Jemima Rooper, but this show did nothing for me. I might be to must of an Austen purist to appreciate this fantasy adventure, because it all felt wrong. So so wrong.
I love this show! The cases are interesting and entertaining, but what really make the show is the relationship between Rash and Stefan. Their chemistry is fantastic and just a delight to watch.
The use of smaller cases that span a couple of episodes are fantastic and makes for really compelling stories.
I really love that this aspect of The Cold War is shown. The acting is superb and the storylines seem plausible and not over the top, which in the wrong hands it could have been. I found it both educational and entertaining.
The Belchers are my favourite animated family to ever exist. Their relationships carries this show and makes all their crazy adventures possile. So funny!
Also, Tina is the best!
This is such a delightful show. Matthew and Matthew are just great and their chemistry with Joe is adorable. I learned a ton of things about wine and wine-making and I was thoroughly entertained.
