What is it about Sarah Wayne Callies that makes me hate every character she portrays? First I hated her in Prison Break, then The Walking Dead, and now this. Weird... because I honestly don't know what it is. Anyway, I love Josh Holloway on Lost, but i don't love this show. It isn't so horrible that you'd assume immediate cancellation, but it isn't so great that it can make it to season 2. I'll watch again next week to decide whether to add it to my "watch later if it isn't cancelled in the first season list".

I predict a cancellation. Too bad though, I'd hoped for better. I will give it one more episode and if this review isn't updated, then that means episode 2 is not much of an improvement in my view. With mediocre acting and miscast leads I suspect I won't be updating this review.

I've rated this low despite the exciting and interesting plot because something about it just feels forced and the acting is just okay. It seems like it is the type of show that needs a few episodes before it finds its footing. Unfortunately, it may be cancelled before it can do well, so I've put this on the back burner; if it survives the whole season I'll binge watch the episodes when they are available for streaming online.

I think this should be called "Crazy Writers, Producers and Directors" instead.

I. Can't. Even.
No, seriously, I couldn't get through the pilot. I watch about 30 minutes before I gave up. I'm usually more patient and forgiving with new shows and open to giving it two episodes before I decide to ditch it. that was how I managed a half hour, but it was a painful half hour so I had to give up because I value my time more.
God knows I love Stephen Moyer, but no... not even he can get em to watch this.

With the children being used for something sinister, I watch this show with a great sense of foreboding. The children are all great at creeping me out when they speak to their imaginary friend, and I like that so far I can't predict EXACTLY where they are going, sure I have a few ideas, but I'm not set on any one so far. The mystery makes it great, so far so good!

I've been consistently impressed with this show. Seth MacFarlane said in an interview that he created this show because of his love for the original Star Trek and it really shows. I only watched the original Star Trek growing up, and a few episodes of each of the following spin offs which I never liked as much as the original. This completely unaffiliated show pays homage to the original with an extra dose of humour. It really is the perfect little escape interwoven with real world issues wrapped in a compelling story for each episode.

I REALLY wanted to like this show. Strong cast, decent plot, on Netflix... then why is is so poorly implemented? I'm on episode 2 and I don't think I can go any further. If Netflix renews this I'll eat my hat. If a Sidereel member watches to the next episode and writes a review or replies to this one saying it gets better, then I'll watch one more... until then, I'm abandoning ship.

The beginning of the pilot was action-packed, but in a bad way. The action was merely used as a plot device to keep the viewer hooked, but then one minute later they did it again, and one more minute later, they did it again. So by 15 minutes in I was wondering if they were going to add a plot or character development. Sharon Stone is great, but this show is not. Untracking and putting this show in my "If it doesn't get cancelled in the first season maybe I'll binge watch it next summer when nothing is on" list.

Now I understand what the slang word "meh" means.
