I am guilty!
This is my one and only guilty pleasure.
Thanks to Sam Raimi...

Acted out rather well...
My only fear is that the series may anchor itself around one of the central characters, ignoring the potential of the resources that a News producer and a befriended criminal lawyer can brings to the screen.

The Kettering Incident

Plot development moves at a snails pace, which gives the viewer a chance to appreciate the gorgeous views of Kettering, Tasmania, Australia. Each of the three episodes released so far are 1 1/2 hours. Elizabeth Debicki (The Man from U.N.C.L.E. & The Night Manager) has created a believable psychotic character. After episode one, the viewer may ascertain where the story is going, take the ride anyway, it may be longer then usual, but watching Miss Debici carry this drama may be well worth the journey.

I would love to be in Shonda Rhimes dreams!
The Catch takes off like a shot, starring Mireille Enos (The Killing), and a host of stars to fill out the ensemble which include Peter Krause (Parenthood), Sonya Walger (Lost), Rose Rollins (The L Word), Jacky Ido (Taxi Brooklyn), just to name a few.
The premise was perfect for the pilot whether or not it can sustains ones interest throughout the planned, 13 episode, first season is left to be seen. With Shonda behind this, it is safe to say I will be there for each moment.

I am looking forward to this ensemble, the story line is fantastic,
After watching the four episodes of the original, with its British cast, I am sure the cast of characters assembled for the US production should be as compelling.
Michael Imperioli, Steve Zahn and Romany Malco are character actors with few peers, this should be fun.
If you get a chance watch the original before this airs in January 2016.

Very Promising!
The face may not be recognizable but there is no mistaken the voice, Max Martini (The Unit, Revenge, Crisis), leads this ensemble cast.
Moving slowly forward, this post Civil War action/drama picks up steam. Why the hero wasn't immediately killed off remains a mystery, however that omission allows for the story to be developed. Edge also stars the very talented Yvonne Strahovski (Chuck, Dexter), and Ryan Kwanten (True Blood). The latter who was featured in the epilogue of Edge promises all kinds of havoc for future episodes.
This show has so much potential, as Westerns go, look out Hell On Wheels...

Revisiting my original review.
Well Jake McDorman found his rhythm and knock this series out of the park, kudos...

I have tried to like this Sci-Fi/Drama but it's not acted out very well.
Of the various vehicles that Jake McDorman has acted in this is the only one where he appears out of sync, with the character he portrays. And harnessing the talents of Jennifer Carpenter is just a travesty. My hope is that this turns itself around.

Bring on season 2...
Be for-warned, this is Canadian sci-fi.
Nice twist to end season one!
