I've always enjoyed escaping the drama, shooting, and so many scary things that happen daily around us, by watching movies. At least, I know that all is supposed to be unreal in movies. Enjoy them for what they are. Fortunately (or not), my job required me to be on computer 24/7 (almost) & therefore, I use my skill of multitasking & always watch something on a side window. Very very picky for comedy. This is a great way to keep track of my shows. My Reviews are mainly based on storylines.
S1: I can understand it if some people may find it boring. But I found it very intellectual. A smart use of violence, not necessary to represent it as one but as a means of gaining knowledge.
I think one can say that it goes back to how profiling evolved.
Really nothing to it. The show is already cancelled and I was planning to watch it only this season assuming that it would have been no more than 10 since it is a day per episode. So... yeah... that is about it.
S1E1: Didn't like the first episode and I could barely watch it. It felt like cheap movie making. To my opinion, most actor/actresses came across as inexperienced.
Good luck to them, but they don't have my vote. With so many new series airing everyday, I'd like to spend my time on better choices.
S1E3: I don't know what to make out of this. It looks like a cheap version of some kind of a story that is to unravel and yet the story has not captured me enough to continue watching. It feels boring and with a new season and so many other new shows, I'd rather spend my time watching other new possibilities than this show that really disappointed me.
I heard negative reviews of how it is setting a bad role involving military forces in the coup, and I gotta say, I agree. But from the point of view of just a movie? What can I say I am a sucker for fiction and all that. I gotta give it at least a season.
For four episode, I gave it a try.
I liked the story, but it was very slow pace even for only four episodes.
Start of Season 7 and I have had it. I found it a bit too gruesome for my taste from beginning, yet I watched it because of actor/actresses (mainly Jessica Lange, Dylan McDermott who started the show in 1st season) but to be honest, I am tired of the craziness and grossness I c in the show. Therefore I stop tracking and watching the show.
Well it is a singing show and by itself it can be boring. However, I love the format and I usually skip the auditions>
HOWEVER, I watch it because of the lost love between Black and Adam. If one of them ever leaves the show, so will I.
S1E9: I was deciding and thinking that even Santiago Cabrera's good looks and calm demeanor will not bring me back for a second season. Then this last episode made me think: now we are getting somewhere. As much as I appreciate tackling dead ends one after another and Tanz always coming to rescue, I find it a bit nerve wrecking to think how the fate of world can be in hands of people who can very possibly use their pure subjective judgment making decisions in world’s crisis hours.
Aside from the story line which was very unique and one of a kind, Tatiana Maslany was the heart and soul of the series. They got lucky casting her because she really pulled it off flawlessly and her performance amazed me and kept me watching the show along with the thrilling and mysterious flow of the story line. Thanks for the seasons that flew by so quickly. I am going to miss you.
