I've always enjoyed escaping the drama, shooting, and so many scary things that happen daily around us, by watching movies. At least, I know that all is supposed to be unreal in movies. Enjoy them for what they are. Fortunately (or not), my job required me to be on computer 24/7 (almost) & therefore, I use my skill of multitasking & always watch something on a side window. Very very picky for comedy. This is a great way to keep track of my shows. My Reviews are mainly based on storylines.
S1: Love the concept. Time travel? Of course. Changes in the past reflecting in present? Hell, YES. But the chemistry among the players is not there.
Although I love the main actress and actors individually in their other performances, like Suites, Rectify, ER, and Crossing Lines, but together? It is just not working for me. I hope the show grows on me, because I like the concept.
S1: Willing to give it one season. Down to earth show, but to cheezy for me.
S1E6:Before every episode, I want to stop watching because it is too real. I appreciate it being so current with today's issues. But I want to watch TV to getaway from life and be entertained.
YET here I am watching it being drown to it. It paints life beautifully and has a great message that keeps calling me. Seriously! It is a great show in that sense.
S1E6: not much to it. I love the chemistry and that is what I am watching the show for. This is comedy to me and I love this type of clever humor. It is refreshing to me that it is clever comedy vs. stupidity.
S1: very intriguing and love the effect of changes in past reflecting in present.
As much as I can see the relevance towards the threats of this generation (threats that have been my concern), yet I guess I do not fall within this generation. I just don't get the presentation. I can see the reason for all the buzz around this show. However, the presentation of the story line is too morbid for my taste and boring to follow. I stopped watching and following the show after the first episode of the second season. Just don't want to waste my time on this show. Sorry to the many supporters.
I love the show. Keeps you on the edge.
Who doesn't like the games between husband and wives? Add power to the husband and the wife and then let the real game begin.
Love the relationships between all the characters. Story of survivor for little guys in a ruthless world of drugs and corruption.
S1: I really enjoyed the first season. Small town secrets that are intertwined and you keep guessing and thinking that is it, you solved it. And yet, not.
Don't really like the acting of the main actress. My opinion? Not a good role for her to play, because I loved her in Merlin.
Now, Can't wait to see how the story will take us to another season.
S2: Really? I am sorry but I am very disappointed after the first episode and I quite. I really was excited for the second show to start and yet it reminds me of all the cheap movies shot in one location with some teenagers and inexperienced actors/actresses. Bottom line, I quit.
First 3-5 minutes was enough to know that I want to spend the time I have to watch a show, be spent on something more original and professional.
S1 was very interesting and hooking me. Eager to watch S2 was even better. Had me sitting on the edge of my seat every time I was watching it. I could not stop watching for couple of days, like you can't put a good book down until you finish it. I love watching Netflix shows. First because the type of movies I like to watch has not been disappointing but the fact that the whole season comes out and I can watch it like a very long movie and not forget details that don't seem as important at the time. Can't wait for S3 to see how they are going to fix the screw ups that they get themselves one after another.
It was good to the end. A bit too crazy right in the middle of second season and made me wonder if I should continue to watch. But I am glad I watched it all the way to the end of the third season and got a somewhat decent ending as opposed to many shows ending, hang you right in the middle.
I enjoyed it.
With heavier focus on personal story line, I see a series that reminds me of Leverage. In addition I enjoy the subtle humor.
Fell in love with the actress, Mireille Enos. After watching her in The Killing and now in this series, I admire her acting.
I think this will be a two season or three for me and then I might be bored. We shall see by the end of first season.
