I've always enjoyed escaping the drama, shooting, and so many scary things that happen daily around us, by watching movies. At least, I know that all is supposed to be unreal in movies. Enjoy them for what they are. Fortunately (or not), my job required me to be on computer 24/7 (almost) & therefore, I use my skill of multitasking & always watch something on a side window. Very very picky for comedy. This is a great way to keep track of my shows. My Reviews are mainly based on storylines.
I had some kind of withdrawal after I binged the whole series.
I really liked it. Took me a while to get hooked.
Definitely like this over "Borgia". Not to mention Jeremy Irons performance did not disappoint me since he was the main reason I watched the show to begin with.
Almost coming to an end of S1.
My favorite era in movies, yet I liked 'The Borgias" better. Definitely better acting (perhaps more experienced? or English language?)
End of Series: I watched it out of curiosity and it grew on me. I still like the other better, but I figures why I like this version less. Simple: Generation Gap.
Perhaps this Borgia is more recent and current generation likes it better.
I love stories from the era. There was so much more honor and respect with all animosity and distrust that existed. So much diplomacy rather than running mouths.
I enjoy watching the stories even more when they have a wonderful background music as this show does. It makes it glorious even in death of an enemy.
I simply watched the whole season in two days and could not stop watching it as one cannot put a good book down.
Definitely captivated by the end of first episode and mainly because of Jason Bateman's character presentation. Halfway through and his fantastic delivery of his character, is the reason I keep watching to see him accomplish what his character needs.
S1E1: Sorry Will. U R cute and all but I got bored before the first episode was over. I don't think you make my cut. TOO modern mix for my taste.
S1E1: Not my cup of tea. It was very slow and boring.
S1 Ending: I watched it as background noise when I take my walks and found the story line to be interesting. I think many deal with the problem of figuring out who u r and what u want from ur life in this day and age and this is the extreme case. Intriguing and nerve wrecking to watch for me but I think I will watch a second season.
Yeap one season was enough. At least for me.
S1E14: Not bad. I can say I enjoyed watching the first season. Doubt I will watch another season. In my opinion, the translation is taking away even more from not so good of acting. I think watching American movies, makes you expect much more from movies made in other countries. I find it funny that everything is Mexican and yet, 95% of the music is in English!!!
S1E3: Not my cup of tea AT ALL. Can't stand the show. Can't stand the language...
I have no clue why in the world did this show become so popular. I don't think it can carry any moral value. Why waste my time? Why promoting it so much? Such a shame to have junk show like this to continue while other good shows with better acting, better story line, better scenery (not depressing) are being cancelled.
Really a good show. Not only the story line kept twisting (maybe a bit too much), in addition, the costumes and music was entertaining. Good to the end and somewhat staying true to history (more or less)
Liked the first season, but two episodes into the second season and I just didn't like it enough to give it a priority to catch up. Just didn't like where the story was going.
S3E1: I don't like to watch it anymore because first of all Colin Morgan's character is dead. He was the only reason I started watching the series because of his acting in Merlin. Also, I really got bored with the storyline and pitty party of robots.
They are Robots. Period. Soul or not that is what they are and were meant to be.
