have to agree with the other reviewers....this one just falls flat. With such an expansive lore to work with it sounded promising, but disappoints
am still a little on the fence, but think I am starting to 'get it'. Can't quite put my finger on what is wrong with the show, but it is definitely good enough to stick with and see how it develops...here's hoping it gets a fair shot - not every show is successful in its first season, sometimes it takes a while for the viewers to catch up to the writers.
One of my top tens. Love this show. The characters are written in a way to really get you rooting for them, even the current arc as you are still waiting for glimpses of Audrey. Think the story is starting to get a little bit convoluted and am starting to worry that there may not be too many more seasons as it just feels like its drawing to a close. Fingers crossed we get another couple of seasons before we leave Haven.
(SPOILERS)started off very excited about this, but have to admit that I'm waiting for it to get to the point now, as every week the plot gets more and more unlikely. His boss and his wife are in on it now huh? hmmmm! Love Sean Bean so will give it til the end of the season, but just can't figure out how this plot-line of amnesiac special forces operative can be made plausible. Fingers crossed it finishes on the high it started with

what can i say? Fantastic show. Laugh out loud funny, with a few humorously squirmy moments as I recognise myself a lot albeit an exaggerated version.Just goes to prove that while Europe (I'm in Ireland) might not appreciate a lot of American Comedy, when the USA gets it right - they absolutely nail it! Also pleasing that I can watch this with my 9 year old (so many comedies just aren't suitable) and she loves it too.
on reading the synopsis, had a feeling this was going to be Greys Anatomy in a Courtroom and was unsure - how wrong was I! Only 2 episodes in and this is definitely in my top 10 favorite shows. May the quality of the acting and writing continue. Am very excited to see the rest of this show, as already the subtle ways we are lead into the surprises are showing signs of heading for some brilliant twists and turns along the way.
BORED NOW. First thing I've ever seen with John Simm that I don't like. Just can't get up the interest to care about the characters, stopped watching after episode 4 as it just felt like it wasn't going anywhere. also, feels like one of those shows that would tempt you with an insight at the end of the season to get you to watch the second, but that the show would be cancelled anyway. I think the main problem is that the writers are trying too hard to be clever, but aren't clever enough to be interesting. If you're not familiar with John Simm, would definitely recommend anything else from his career, The Lakes, The Village, Doctor Who (The Master), Life on Mars (UK) and too many others to mention here, he's an awesome actor in a terrible show!
Hmm. Twaddle. Had high hopes for this, but so far very disappointing. Am determined to give it a fair go - and there's still a whole lot of season 1 to go so will update review if things change. Couldn't recommend it to anyone at the moment.
Like the show so far, but can't seem to find a way round the longevity issue. Any more than two (three at most) seasons of these guys sailing around while looking for a cure and unable to trust anyone is going to get old fast! Maybe the writers have a few tricks up their sleeves but the worry is that if the show proves to be popular and goes a few seasons story lines will become convoluted and forced (think Lost). That said, as it stands at the moment the show is definitely worth a look. Good, enjoyable pop-corn fun!
Fantastic drama! Not at all what I usually watch - I tend to like sci-fi/fantasy/horror. I came across this by accident and was hooked in minutes. A brilliantly portrayed story of a family dealing with an incredibly difficult situation and of course always the question - what really happened? we have to wait to see if that story line emerges but somehow you never feel like you're being pulled in the direction where you need to know the answer, although you might want to its not the main component of the story. Brilliantly acted, every one of the actors are fantastic and bring a reality to this little gem that not many modern dramas manage. Fantastic show, cannot praise highly enough.
