Took a while for this to get going, but when it did...wow. Brilliantly twists so that you are not sure whether you're watching a detective series, a supernatural thriller or a science based medical thriller. By episode 4 (and excluding the Walking Dead ha ha) it was the show I most looked forward to all week. Recommend, but beware, will take you off on all kinds of tangents so be prepared for a bit of a roller coaster. Delighted its been renewed

this show was a real surprise. First few episodes seemed a bit slow - and a little confusing - but then they showed what happened to the women, and the story-line suddenly fleshed out and became engrossing. A well crafted drama, can't wait for the finale.

Love this show, and now have my daughter hooked too! One of those shows that you look forward to week to week and are constantly watching out for premiere dates for new seasons. Very difficult to review on a season by season basis, as every season is so different, but a five star show for sure.

Devastated that this has been cancelled after just one season! (and MacGyver picked up - REALLY!???) The satire was spot on, the story ridiculously fun and all of the actors seemed to really gel and appeared (to my amateur eye anyway) to really be enjoying being part of this fab show - lets face it, thats a rarity these days. Am living in hope that someone else will pick this up - go on Netflix, do your thing! Despite that fact that there may only be one season highly recommend this show (the 'previously on Braindead' intros alone are worth it!)

what a little gem! This show is a real surprise. It has an almost 'fly on the wall' feel to it, and is actually really funny! I struggle with telling people about it, because it feels like its mine, a little secret that i know (should) will one day become common knowledge, but I want the self satisfied feeling I know i'll get when everyone else finally comes round to it, and I can do the 'I knew about that show MONTHS ago!' thing. Recommended, but only to people who are good with secrets! ha ha

Loved the first two episodes. Not quite sophisticated enough to be satire, but not silly enough to be parody this walks the fine line between the two spectacularly. Amidst some real laugh out loud moments (Ariana Grande especially) were throw backs to kill scenes from 80's b-movie slasher flicks. It's not too gory, and the kill scenes are definitely played for laughs. This show does most definitely NOT take itself seriously, and neither should we! Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Wasn't sure after season 1, season 2 was much better and WOW for season 3. Well plotted, well paced and well acted. Can't wait for season 4 after that big ending!

WOW! I defy anyone to watch this and not be affected by it. An amazing documentary...and not at all what I was expecting. I thought it was going to be a documentary about poaching and gorillas, and it is, but it is so much more! Its main focus is actually the people of Virunga and the politics of Congo. I laughed with the ticklish gorillas, (I had never seen anything like that footage before), I ran with the people fleeing M23 and I was outraged by the actions of SOCO International This is an absolute must see for EVERYONE! Politics, wildlife and humanity. Few documentaries have encompassed such a range in such an engaging and affecting manner. I was straight on the internet afterwards needing to find out more!

No, that's it, I take it back. Original review below but I can't do it any more. I surrender. This show is just too frustrating and i now actively dislike Halle Berry in this role. i give up!
So torn about this one....the premise is really good, and it does just enough to keep you interested but never really delivers on its potential. We're coming to the end of S2 now, and Halle Berrys character is really starting to get on my nerves, she's torturous! I think the biggest problem with this show is that it can't seem to make up its mind what it is, sci-fi, drama, horror or just a halle berry promo. If someone really took control and ran with the story instead of spending so much time on HB's psycholoical welfare it could be great, as it stands, will stick it out until the end of S2 and hope for the best, but don't think I'll be joining this show next year.
