I love the casting. It's an interesting story. But the person in charge of the music should never work in the industry again. What a constant annoyance taking the audience out of the time period and the story.

Dumb title, great soundtrack, lousy show. It's nice to know the real life narcissist went bankrupt.

I don't want to miss a show with the possibility of a shirtless Boris Kodjoe but who thought Robin Thicke was a good idea?

Please ditch the audience.

This is a fun reboot. This is what other series need to learn. If you reboot an old series change the culture so it's a new flavor. This show has the familiarity of a the single mother working to raise two strong kids and has the same theme song. Yet it's so different. They are Cuban not white, the daughter is the strong feminist not the mother, the theme song is performed by Gloria Estefan given it a nice Cuban twist.

Justina Machado is such an easy lead to root for. She is funny, believable and beautiful. And the legendary Rita Moreno is always worth watching.

Given the target audience shouldn't this have started with an explanation as to what a cassette tape is?

It has an interesting concept. The pilot was a bit weak. It has a lot of potential.

Earth may be a hot mess but so is this show. It's supposed to be for adults but it has a Sesame Street meets You the Jury feel to it.

The audience is annoying and distracting. And are prompted on how to react making the whole thing feel very fake. I suspect this is a paid audience (yes that's a thing).

The show uses models, rappers and various other "celebs" to explain serious science issues. Which really gives it a Comedy Central pretend science show feel.

I didn't learn anything from it. In fact I felt stupider for having sat through the pilot.

Maybe I should have learned my lesson with the 4th season of Arrested Development - once it is over it is over. This felt like a different show, like watered down rip off of the Gilmore Girls yet somehow managed to get the original actors.

Also, all through the funeral scene I couldn't help wishing Richard was a vampire. It wouldn't be an less ridiculous and I've watched Lost Boys way too many times.

I never found a reason to watch the movie series this is the prequel to. Now that I've tried to sit through the pilot of this I don't think I ever will.

What a boring and unrealistic show. Coming from Amazon, the streaming service that made Transparent and One Mississippi, I expected something much better. And original.

Bad acting, predictable plots, super vanilla. It basically feels like it was put together by a bunch of sheltered homeschoolers whose idea of life came from the highly censored book selection their parents choose for them.

It started out fun. But then it became clear that the only material they had was Jenna and Matty getting together, breaking up, getting together, breaking up, ad nauseam.
