I am a young adult (unbelievable) - interested in fantasy, sci-fi, mysteries and rom coms... (du'uh) I am always open to new suggestions!!!
I go through spouts with this. It's addictive to hear how it'll all work out for Jenna, someone I can actually relate to for a change - but if I leave it too long I tend to get bored and can't be bothered to restart...
Always look forward to this. Not the most original thing in the world but it's differnt and I like it!
Such a good modern interpretation of Sherlock. So much better than Sherlock (the BBC series). It may be less close to the books, but the essence is still there, and the characters are so much more lovable. In comparison, I find Cumberbatch unredeemable!
So clever. Orphan Black keeps you on your toes. More so, what a BRILLIANT display of acting on behalf of the female clone, who masters different accents, looks and movements for each character - truly INCREDIBLE!
Not exactly incredible but it's silly nonsense that makes me laugh each week!
Can't wait each week for the new episode! Fire them ALL!
Amazing! Such a good mystery series. Plenty of twists and turns - many of which were not obvious. The plot follows Alex, a young girl who joins the FBI for a reason. It looks at both her time at Quantico (the FBI Training Facility) and the modern day after a horrendous terrorist attack, for which Alex is being framed. Unfortunately, really hoping the second season is the last. I'm still enjoying it but it seems more than a little coincidental that Alex finds herself once again considering her time at her 6 month training academy (this time CIA) as well as a major terrorist plot... Headed for Disaster?
Twin Peaks is like nothing you've seen before and nothing you'll see again. The combination of the cast, the writers, the location, the MUSIC (oh - the music) and so much more makes for the incredible end result still available to watch today. The story of Laura Palmer's death, who killed her and how it shook the town was in itself, nothing new. But somehow, the introduction of FBI Agent Dale Cooper, the comedy of Deputy Andy and Lucy's bizarre relationship, the weird backwards dreams and the strange and mysterious BOB. So worth a watch!!!!! (particularly in anticipation of the Twin Peaks revival in Summer 2017)
Such an incredible series. Well planned by the creators and writers. Very accurate in terms of actual tech talk. And just so real. Elliot's life is both tragic and totally understandable, and there were enough twists that I didn't actually see them all coming. I (personally) believe the main twist - you'll know what I mean when you watch it - was obvious for episode 2, but some of the others weren't so much. I particularly enjoyed the sub-story of Tyrell Wellick and his family.
It's not perfect. The film was made INCREDIBLY cheaply, so the costumes are abysmal (think "bargain bin for children" style) and frankly, most of the actors aren't great either. Ben (Beauty and Beast's son) is rather wooden, Carlo (Cruella's son) literally has one character aspect and it's that he's AFRAID of dogs - I know, right? However, in spite of the awful lip syncing and terrible green screening, I love the film. It was fun, silly, full of entertaining songs and a nice little plot. AND, it's already got a TV series confirmed to follow (cartoon now, which should be a big improvement) and the positive viewing suggests plenty of money for a sequel - which is WELL suggested. Here's hoping they put more effort into a sequel!!!!! :-)
