I am a young adult (unbelievable) - interested in fantasy, sci-fi, mysteries and rom coms... (du'uh) I am always open to new suggestions!!!
Quite enjoyed this. Nothing perfect, and often fairly predictable but the writing, new take, and actors pull the tired fairytales into 21st century TV. The Grimm is hilarious, just wish that it didn't seem like EVERYONE knew who he was except that weeks' enemies. Sort of seems "not very secret"...
I really wish they had decided to follow the book properly. The book is very good and the series really was fairly enjoyable the first season. Unfortunately, with deciding to keep the series going, they also decided to change the plot (sort of necessary as they'd ended the book) and it just lost all motivation and direction. Gave up half way through series 2!
Uh - as series go, SO PREDICTABLE. I sat through 4 episodes to be proven right that it really was going where I thought it would. Then I gave up. Plot is okay if you don't read or know about the classic horrors, (Frakenstein, Dracula, etc) the acting is, again, okay, but not incredible. And it's another show that's gone for that mostly at night stage, meaning you can't see a lot! Grr...
Such a promising start. Unfortunately, it becomes very long winded, and the episodes are quite hard to find... I tried to catch up because I'd love to know how it ends up but I'm pretty sure we all know her and wolfy are true soulmates, meanwhile the annoying doctor will go back to her sleeping girlfriend!
Started out okay but it really takes a dive and the plot just seemed to be going nowhere. Glad it got cancelled, but I would have loved the last 5 "explain it all"...
Not the most incredible series in the world but I truly can't see why it was axed. I watched this in the UK (assuming it's American or Canadian) but EVERYONE I knew who had Sky was watching this, and enjoying it. Sad that I'll never get those answers...
Unfortunately, this series was another victim of lack of thought. A great initial idea, good storywriters, excellent actors - but the series becomes more and more confused, and in very few series it becomes too hard to watch!
Not appalling but after 3-4 episodes the plot felt predictable at best. It was nice to see Mr Fantastic again (I really like him as an actor) but I was sick of the sometimes multiple deaths per episode which came to mean so little!!!!
Just another remake!
Oh GOD! It's as bad as the Hills. Hollyoaks. Eastenders. Geordie Shore. Made in Chelsea. But it's got vampires. Who is keeping this going when we lose decent things like Firefly???
