I've visited Sidereel for years and love the community here! I watch all kinds of television as long as it's entertaining or smart. I love talking television so feel free to comment on my lists or reviews. Thanks for reading and happy viewing! :)
Trashy television at it's dirtiest, The Jersey Shore was a cultural phenomenon. Portraying the lives of a group of "guidos" spending the summer on the Jersey Shore, this show has everything you want from trash TV. Fighting, drinking, irrational behavior, and insipid stupidity. If you like laughing at bad behavior, inappropriate bedroom/dirty talk, and women who refer to themselves at meatballs then you'll love watching this.
Tiger & Bunny is a superb superhero Anime. Starring superhero duo Barnaby "Bunny" and Wild Tiger, the show tells the story of a league of heroes who compete to save the day. Set up like a professional sport, these excursions are broadcast to the city. The animation style may be odd to some, but if you are looking for a quality anime/superhero show, Tiger & Bunny delivers!
Strange Days is a family friendly supernatural show, about the weird things happening at Blake Holsey High school. Every episode centers around a different phenomenon affecting the group of close friends. It's funny, has the occasional science fact, and is an absolute pleasure to watch!
MIghty Morphin' Power Rangers is a back in the day 90's classic. It inspired the continued franchising of the series, and a whole generation of kids to wear Power Ranger Halloween costumes. The show is campy and fun, but unfortunately do not hold up as well years later.
From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series is an okay supernatural/action show. Unlike it's predecessor, this show can be slower paced and loses much of the intrigue that the movie had. If you have seen From Dusk Till Dawn and enjoyed it, you will probably like this show.
Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp is another successful Netflix hit! Banking on the success of it's cult classic namesake (Wet Hot American Summer) this series boasts a powerhouse cast of famous folks. If you liked the movie or any of the major players on the show, you should definitely check it out!
This is an okay kid's sketch show, and a good way to introduce that genre to a younger audience. While the kids might like it, the jokes are rarely clever. Adults will more likely than not be groaning after an episode or two.
That's so Raven was a Disney channel show, starring Raven Symone as a sassy psychic. With her best friends Eddie and Chelsea, she navigated the world of high school. Occasionally Raven has a vision of the future, and in her attempts to avoid it hilarity ensues! This series still holds up and is really funny to watch. If you used to be a fan or have kids who need something family friendly, watch it.
Last Man Standing is a typical sitcom, drawing humor from slightly wacky unlikely situations. Unfortunately, not even Tim Allen can protect this show from it's rather bland and average humor. If you're really looking for a good sitcom, try Home Improvement. It is much funnier!
A series of extremely funny raps featuring prominent figures in history. Very funny and mildly informative!
