I've visited Sidereel for years and love the community here! I watch all kinds of television as long as it's entertaining or smart. I love talking television so feel free to comment on my lists or reviews. Thanks for reading and happy viewing! :)
Tasty, dramatic, and extremely watchable, The Great Food Truck Race is delicious. Watching as teams compete for their very own food truck and cash prize is surprisingly addictive. The food truck craze is still going strong, and so is this tasty show!
While Deadman Wonderland might appeal to some, I personally find it to gory. A prison anime featuring weapons made of blood, this show's plot is not particularly evolved or complicated. If you are looking for violence and a taste of the macabre, I would check this anime out!
Dexter is the common man's serial killer. Choosing to kill other killers instead of the innocent, the show does a brilliant job bringing the audience into the world of serial killer Dexter Morgan. Compelling in it's plot, this Showtime series makes for an amazing drama. Though the faint of heart should be warned, this show can get gory!
The United States of Tara is a brilliant show that succeeds because of Toni Collete's amazing performance as a woman with multiple personalities. What would be a gimmicky plot for some shows developed into one of Showtimes best programs. After you've seen the first episode you will either love or hate the series. But most likely you will love it and wonder how fast you can watch the whole series.
Summer Heights High is hysterical! Chris Lilley as three characters (Ja'mie, Mr. G, and Jonah) will keep you in stitches. Whether it's watching Mr. Lilley use a student's death for his own gain, or just Ja'mie chastise public school, Summer Heights High is an great comedy.
Fun but too often predictable, Entourage is a guilty pleasure show. With more than the occasional sexist plot line and some negative portrayals of females characters, this show will be hard to watch for some. But if you're looking for some easy laughs about a group of friends in Hollywood, you should definitely check out Entourage!
Not all nerdy comedies are alike and Silicon Valley proves that. Focusing on a group of smart/off putting nerds, this show's humor is not particularly grounded. Niche jokes in combination with an overuse of the nerd archetype make this show funny, but it swiftly turns stale.
This former CW show is a solidly funny sitcom comedy. While sometimes over acted, this show brings enough laughs and good humor to compensate.
A hilarious send-up of dating shows, Burning Love succeeds in doing exactly what it set out too. This show makes you laugh at ridiculously organized romantic reality shows, while sporting a star filled cast. If you feel like an easy to binge short comedy, this is the perfect show for you!
Wilfred is quirky comedy done right. Elijah Wood brilliantly portrays Ryan, a main character who sees his dog as a man in a dog costume. While this may seem like a thin concept to base an entire show around, this remake of the Australian series is exceptionally enjoyable to watch.
