Vampires

It starts in the here and now and doesn't give much background to the how or why. It is a complicated family story that kind of draws you in. It isn't really bad but it isn't really great either. But it definitely is interesting.

It is not your typical vampire story. Being vampires is kind of secondary. But it is worth the watch. Kind of looking forward to the second season.

This is sooo much better than the movie! Some books are just better off being made into a series instead of a movie. They are just too complex to fit into 2 hours. This is one of them.
Totally excited they made a series out of this. Loved the books and love this series.
The characters are very well portrayed, they are totally believable and they stick close to the story. It is so worth watching and I can only recommend the books!

This is so cool! It plays into the whole climate debate from a totally different angle, involving norse myths and their gods. So glad I stumbled across this on Netflix. Totally worth watching!

Why does it always have to be "politically correct" and include a gay and/or lesbian couple? I am most definitely not anti-homosexuals - but it is getting to be overkill in the shows.
As a whole, this show isn't all that great. The acting is bad, but the story is just plain terrible. There is no hand and foot to the whole thing. And the whole "girl power" and the "all male's are bad" vibe that is coming off the show - sorry, but this is not the right platform for this. At all.
I am sorry to say, but this remake sucks. If you really want to watch a great remake, watch "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina".

I binged the entire season within 2 days. One of THE BEST shows I have watched in quite a while. I am usually not big into anything with politics and a lot of times I do other stuff while watching a show. But this is so riveting, I do not want to do anything else but watch.
It draws you right in. And it keeps you on the edge of your seat. The story line is great, the acting is solid and the characters are well drawn totally believable. You are never sure of their motives and what they are going to do next and, more important, why. It does not draw a picture of black and white, good and bad - it shows human beings and the choices they make. It doesn't judge. I think that's what I like best.
The story starts slow and it doesn't speed up but continues at it's own pace. But it sure does reel you in. I am loving it! And I cannot wait for the next season!

After watching the entire first season (which, unfortunately, only has 6 episodes) I had to put this show on my "truly awesome" list. I was hooked after the first episode. It has been a long time since a show so completel pulled me in. It is like an addiction!
Martial arts with (serious) blood and gore, a great story that keeps you on your toes and good actors that really make you believe their character. A must-watch if you ask me!

I love a good crime/spy drama. And this fits the bill. I have never seen the movie but I reallylike the show.
Season 1 is kind of like a 10-episode-prequel to season 2. It tells the story of how Brian ended up working for Christina. His first mission, with his first team. Season 2 starts with a new team under new and completely different circumstances and where season 1 was one big story, season two is more like a procedural with a new "case" in every episode.

After watching 7 episodes I can say the following:
When I read about this new show and what it was about, it sounded intriguing. Set in a completely different time than the other crime shows I usually watch, it gives a different view on criminal profiling. The story itself is good and well thought out. And the actors, for the most part, are doing pretty good.
But as much as the story is really interesting, it keeps dragging in between. And I can't put my finger on the why. I keep wanting to move the story along, to make it go faster somehow. I don't know if this has something to do with the fast-paced shows and episodes I am used to or if it is the story itself. I am going to keep watching, because I like the story (I really want to find out who is the killer!) and I like the actors - especially Daniel Brühl (whom I have seen in several of his native German productions).
What I don't know is how they are going to make a second season out of this story. Maybe a new crime spree?

Absolutely amazing.
I am late coming to the table to watch this show. It is almost time for the 8th season to start up. But I had to finally find out what all the hype is about. And I am amazed!
I got to binge and I just got done watching the entire first and second season. I was hooked after the first episode. The story draws you right in. It took me a few episodes to get all the names straight. But if you pay attention it is not difficult. It feels like a mix of the Middle Ages and Ancient Greece. And the story has everything you could ask for. Strong characters from the very beginning that keep developing. And not always the way you expect them to. A line that takes you through like a red thread to follow. And awesome scenery!
The way this show is set up is something you expect in a movie - not on TV.
I am so glad I am late in watching so now I get to watch it in one fell swoop. Again: Totally amazing! One of THE best shows I have ever watched.

I usually watch "Good Witch" to balance out my steady diet of crime shows, fantasy and sci-fi. But this is even better! I only watche the first episode so far but I can already tell it is mindless and trashy. The biggest thing will be to keep the characters and their relationships straight.
And I am loving it!!!!
I am glad I got a late start and I can binge the first 9 episodes. Hoping it is strong enough to get a good long run.
