This is one of the best shows I have watched. And not just because I love Nathan Fillion and am happy to see him back on screen. I really like the story. It is different. And the way this show is made is different. This is not your usual cop show.
The basic story is really good and what they made out of it during the first season is solid. Continuously solid. The characters are well drawn and the actors are great. It is all believable and nothing in there jumps out as fake or overdrawn.
I have waited to write this until the end of the first season and I can say I am still hooked. Solid show with great moments. So worth watching!

The Witcher

Okay, I just finished the whole season (seriously, only 8 episodes?????) and it was awesome! I have not played the games and I just started reading the books, so I cannot say how close to the original it is or is not. But in my humble opinion it was freaking awesome!
The actors are great. Even though Henry Cavill does a lot of grunting instead of talking. Doesn't deter from how hot he looks with the long hair and wearing tight leather pants.
The story line is quite twisty and it took me 3 1/2 episodes to figure out I was dealing with 3 different timelines before they all came together in episode 7 and 8. For someone not familiar with the books and/or game it is very confusing. The story itself makes more sense once you have established that fact. But other than that it was, I can only repeat myself, awesome! Now I am just a bit mad that there are only 8 episodes and the fact that I probably have to wait another year for the next chapter of the story.

I love it!
I didn't quite know what to expect, but Sabrina the Teenage Witch it, most definitely, is NOT. It is scary, creepy and funny all at the same time.
The acting is really good, I like all the young actors and especially Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina. She is perfect! I like that the opening credits are made up like the comic and the whole time there seems to be this blurr around the edges of the pictures and it feels like you are watching through a lense. It brings in the focus - a lot. I also like the way they mixed the old with the new. Clearly, just like Riverdale, the original story is set in a different time. But they managed to blend this so well, you barely notice.
I am totally hooked and, I binge-watched the entire first season and now I absolutely cannot wait for the next one!

I am not sure what to think of the show, even though I have watched all 6 episodes. The acting is great. The characters are well drawn and are filling out over time. Which is great. I am just not sure about the story line. It is interesting and it captures. And it is this weird mix of Victorian period drama and modern Sci-Fi. But it is definitely interesting enough to look forward to another season.

I have never watched the original comic so I cannot say anything about this show following the original script. All I can say is that it is a decent Teenie show and I really enjoyed watching it.

It started a bit slow but picked up really fast. Too bad it only had six episodes. It could have been drawn out a bit more. But it was okay and I can honestly say I am looking forward to the next season.

Came across this show by accident and got to binge-watch both (unfortunately very short) seasons. I was hooked after the first episode. I like the characters and I love the story line. The acting is great and I really like how Jenny's private life plays such a big role, not just her work as a Coroner.
Each season has a red string, a main story that leads you through all the episodes and concludes at the end. Not just the single "cases" but something that ties everything together. It makes it kind of unique for each season.
Definitely worth watching!

After watching the pilot I am more than intrigued and just about on the way to being completely hooked. It started out strong and I hope it will be able to keep it up. You already get a glimpse of the different characters and who or better what they are. It has the beginnings of a good story - the reason why Manfred came to Midnight. And why it looks like he is going to stay.
If this is going to be anything like Charlaine Harris' True Blood - I predict a long run.

Season 2 was just as good as Season 1 - just too short. Hopefully, Season 3 will be a lot longer. Awesome show! So worth the watching!

I like this show. It is nothing to rave about but it has good basics. I like the way Matt and Angie teamed up, I like their personal lives/stories and I like the cases they work on. Nothing spectacular, but nice, easy going and funny TV. It doesn't always have to be WOW, sometimes, the nice stuff will do just fine.

It is actually pretty good. I kind of surprised myself that I got hooked and kept watching. The start was okay but it kept building its own momentum and at some point just took off.

I was a bit skeptical at first but staying with the show really paid off. Queen Latifah does a good job. And I like the family angle with her being a single mom trying to raise a teenage girl. It keeps things real.

Too bad we only got those 10 episodes. I feel like there was room for more. Maybe there will be in the next season.

Hooten & the Lady

It had a pretty good start. Interesting story line and interesting characters. Lady Alex is a bit overdrawn at times but still believable. I like Hooten. There is some depth to him and he definitely has a bunch of secrets.
I have only watched the pilot so far but I am looking forward to finding out more about him. And to see where this story is going to take them. And me.

Binge-watched the entire season over the weakend. Living up to its potential. Lady Alex and Hooten make a great team. Can't wait for the next season.
