Author of the book Axing My Exes and blogger of Jerrica's Jerks. I love to write, laugh, and be outside. TV shows over movies any day. If I could strap a screen to my face while gardening and simultaneously write, my life would be complete. TV, for myself, is not to escape but to inspire.
A popular tv lawyer visits his real lawyer brother and father and decides to get into the business himself. The only problem is, is that he's an over-the-top actor with a crazy obvious god-complex and completely delusional. Rob Lowe can do no wrong in my books. This hilarious and ridiculous concept is brilliant! The under-his-breath comments from Savage is so on-point it doesn't even seem scripted. I did not expect this to be good, but I Love!
Some decent comedians get thrown on to a show with excruciating accents, even worse chemistry, and cringe worthy writing. This would get walk-outs even if it were on an amateur improv stage. Unwatchable. Even on a sick day.
A comedic, slightly teen-ish take on a zombie series. Characters are extremely likeable and the writing is taking it somewhere you want to follow. Like but not Love.
Better than chocolate. We love everything about this show! The realistic ravenous nature of the viking bulldozers, the powerful male and female characters, the passion, the historical significance and the never-ending battle of religious beliefs. This season offered us a glimpse into the rise of Rolo (my assumption) and the mental and physical struggles (and demise) of its most prominent characters. Not only is Vikings action-filled, educational, well cast with amazing performances, it is also one of the best looking teams on tv!
A 40s divorcé re-enters single life and the job market by re-inventing herself as a 20-something hipster. Ignore the teeny-bopper name it was given, this series is smart, funny, relatable and brilliantly cast. Sutton Foster is a star and her genuine sarcastic whit is so refreshing.
Chhtt! Cesar Milan has a dog training super power, for sure! The techniques he uses are smart and entertaining. If you're a dog-lover, you'll be a Cesar Milan fan.
A slobby, alcoholic grumpy old man somehow gets away with his jerky behavior because he is a phenomenal (and intuitive) detective. Procedural version of House? Not really. Will it last? Fifty-fifty chance.
First of all - laugh attack hilarious. The last man on earth acts exactly how you'd think a typical man would; driving around the U.S collecting porn, sports memorabilia and Twinkies. The last woman on earth is naggy, annoying, and absolutely perfect for him. I can't wait for more. Bravo Will Forte, you're a g'damn genius.
I get motion sickness watching Claire Danes. Her character irritated me so much I couldn't get past episode 7, I was too mad at the director. But it works for a lot of superfans. I'm a little sad I didn't 'get it'. Sorry.
Team Danny! I mean, is there really a competition there? Bonnie and Riley are perfectly cast and acted. Every character is bold, funny and witty. It can get cheesy at times, but that's what makes it enjoyable!
