I prefer the book over the show. However, I'm really glad Mad Sweeny's story didn't follow the book. It's an ok show, feel like it could have ended in 2 seasons though rather than be dragged out.
I'm a little disappointed in what STARZ has churned out for this series. The acting isn't that great and almost feels like there really wasn't a decent budget for the show.
It's a decent look into the history of the War of the Roses, but nothing to really write home about.
Probably the worst of the 3 shows that follow the Tudors/Red Rose/White Rose series. Acting is horrible, almost cringeworthy. Not sure if I'll watch the rest of the series.
Thank goodness they are ending the series. It started off nicely, but continually bringing back supposedly dead characters and beating dead the same storyline over and over got out of hand. The only good thing now are the fight sequences and even those are becoming a little redundant.
Classic CW show that's undoubtedly run into the ground and beat to death before the CW realizes they need to move on. Season 5 should have been it's last, honestly. Could have ended it on a high note. Not really sure how well season 6 and 7 will fair. Probably won't tune in for 7 and anything after.
An okay crime drama. If it wasn't for Idris, I'd probably stop watching it. Not really sure why it hasn't been cancelled, honestly.
Not really sure what all the hype is about this show. I wasn't that impressed with it. I'd much rather watch the old Twilight Zone shows. This does no justice to that series as the 'modern day Twilight'. Lame and disappointing.
This will always be my all time favorite crime/cop show. Nothing has ever come close to living up to it. It's so well thought out and surprising. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. I'm so sad it had to come to an end. I could have easily continued to watch it.
I'm not entirely sure what all the hu-bub about this show was. Maybe it was better during its time, but watching it now, it feels really mediocre and subpar. It's not as taboo as I thought it was going to be.
