What the ever loving fuck is this shit? The acting is HORRIBLE. I'm extremely disappointed as I love Mortal Instruments books and the movie, but this just makes me what to gouge my eyes out. I struggled to even make it through the first episode and definitely won't be watching the rest. GOOD LORD.
One of THE best period dramas ever, in my opinion. I can easily binge watch this over and over. Definitely can't wait for the next season, that's for sure.
I wasn't sure about this show to begin with. The premise was great, but really, how interesting could things be on just a ship? I have to admit I was extremely impressed with how the writers progressed the plot. Season 1 was great, but season 2 was even better. I really hope that this doesn't start down hill because each episode grabs my attention, holds onto it, and leaves me wanting more when it ends.
Started off kind of slow and boring but got IMMENSELY better after episode 3. Can't wait to see where they take season 2. Hopefully the writers don't backtrack and start out slow again and just build on the awesomeness that was episode 8. I know this is based on a book series, it's made me want to read them. Also, getting to watch Henry walk around in leather or no clothes is a yummy bonus :x lol.
Krasinski keeps getting great roles. I'm really excited for his career and glad that he isn't stuck in the nerdy Jim character role. He does AMAZING in this show. The writing is great and keeps you on edge. I found myself clicking next episode because I just HAD to know what happened next. Great reinvention of the original movie series. Can't want to see where this series goes. Fingers crossed it stays captivating.
So disappointed this got cancelled. I really wanted to see where it was going.
I really enjoy how fast paced this show is so far. They don't waste time getting to the nitty gritty stuff. I also like the cliffhanger endings on the episodes, makes it difficult to NOT binge watch. Katee Sackhoff is a bada**. Not really impressed with Selma Blair though.
I'm so happy with this so far, loved the book, and the series is doing it justice. David and Michael are spot on for Crowley and Aziraphale.
I realize it was only the pilot, and a CW show, but I was unimpressed with the acting. Hope it gets better. :(
I really enjoyed this show. Can't wait to see what season 2 has in store. One complaint, not really fond of Ellen Page's portrayal of her character. Anytime she was on screen, I began losing interest.
