Some of the best comedians rip apart the fired contestant which is always hilarious. Also I want a "you're fired gift", so I keep watching in hopes they get something I can make myself - which they mostly always do.

Beautiful dresses, beautiful people and mostly mediocre hosts. For all movies lovers out there this is a must watch! I for one tune in always.

Merlin

The many stories and myths surrounding the legendary King Arthur are explored with great attention from Merlin's perspective. The balance between when, what and who to tell about the many parts if Merlin makes for great viewing and I gulped of the entire show. Magic and royal England. What not to like?!

This one night special has a brilliant ensemble. The many different and beautiful interpretations of Shakespeare's works makes the time fly. Featuring everything from interpretative dance and rap to classic ballet and some of the bart's most memorable dialogues it is an unforgettable ode to everyone's favourite historic icon.

It is me Hamlet the Dame.

Our World War

Three parts and three individual stories presenting a specific and significant time in WWI. All actors contribute in their own way and with respect to the stories. I've always mostly learned about WWII so this was a new and interesting historical perspective that I can only recommend for others interested in what the soldiers went through from 1914 to 1918 in Europe.

Our Girl

This is more about a regular woman trying to make it in a mans world than it is actually about the army. The life and the choices she faces as she enters a war zone - mostly to get away from her far from rich home with a less than present father. I love it. It presents some new perspectives that I haven't seen before and the story - though still with a boy meets girl perspective - doesn't evolve around a relationship, which serves the greater good. A must watch.

My opinion and thus rating of this show comes down to simple math:
Half a star for Charlie Hamblett as Stevie
One star for Ian Hart - because he is always brilliant and always deserves one star for himself
Half a star for it being in London (and a BBC production)

That's it. I can't with this.

I love anything that portrays old regal Europe, so naturally I also love this. Besides the story, which can be interpreted endlessly, I truly enjoy the actors. I have had to deduct half a star for it being made in English rather than French. Another half star has been deducted for the time it actually takes to establish the characters as individuals - it took much too long to figure out who was who and I know the historic figures at least.
