Love movies and TV shows, especially good comedy and science fiction, but also drama, crime and some fantasy. Also a few documentaries and reality TV.
Very nice show, if you like the genre. Good acting, nice sets and costumes, the story has a few holes but holds together.
Always laughing my ass of while watching this show. This sitcom family pioneered the whole "completely dysfunctional but still lovable family" genre, and it's still glorious to this day.
Benedict Cumberbatch as Holmes! What's not to love. The stories and acting are great and you have to think fast even while watching. With the exception of the last few episodes, which were inferior to the series strong start in my opinion and focus more and more on fancy editing than on story/dialgoue.
Very funny show. I love how they took old family memories and put them together with an awesome cast to make this sitcom. If you grew up in or just love the 80's, this is for you.
love this show, you learn so much. very nice to watch even if you´re not a baking enthusiast because of the charming hosts and candidates.
Shitty (formerly) rich people versus shitty reality. Hilarity ensues. This show really surprised me with its witty humor and fantastic character development.
A show for every age and gender. Sweet and well thought through, nice characters and good drama. love the ambiente! made with lots of love, thx amy and daniel ;-)
This miniseries is quite interesting. Although the plot feels a bit unfocused, I enjoy this series for the worldbuilding (what happens if you put 1950's Americans in a box and close it for 50 years), the nice sets and solid performances from TV veterans like Tricia Helfer, Brian Van Holt, Gil Bellows and Brad Carter.
The first few episodes introduce an interesting, slightly confusing story, but I'm curious to see how it all ends.
This is a good period drama. Great sets, nice costumes, stunning landscapes, solid acting and a good ratio of drama and action. The Chinese, Mongols and other people are portrayed adequatly and believable and the historic struggle between traditions and foreign influences in the Khan Empire is well incorporated into the plot of the series.
After the end of season 1 I can't help but feel a tad underwhelmed. I had high hopes for the series, being a project of Guillermo del Toro and having a unique and interesting plot. But the way they delivered it was at times a bit sloggy and unpolished. The plot is interesting, but moves slowly, the characters are likeable, but their behaviour is puzzling sometimes, the villains are creepy, but not very subtle or insidious.
I would say it's still worth checking out, let's see if season 2 brings a fresh breeze.
