I've visited Sidereel for years and love the community here! I watch all kinds of television as long as it's entertaining or smart. I love talking television so feel free to comment on my lists or reviews. Thanks for reading and happy viewing! :)
While nothing can live up to the original, this remake is pretty good. New Theme song, new animation style, same old PPG!
MTV's remake Scream is a fantastic series. As a reboot or standalone, the show was entertaining to watch. The acting is mostly on point and the gore is pretty well done if not a bit lacking. But most importantly, this show is entertaining. If you like horror cliches, meta humor, other MTV shows, or horror teen shows, you'll like it.
Bad Samaritans is raunchy, rowdy, and over the top hilarious. Watching five off beat offenders reluctantly pay back society has never been more fun! If you're looking for a short comedy series, check this out!
Over the Garden Wall is the sweetest animated mini-series a person could ask for. The series tells the story of two brothers, as they explore a fantastical world. It's both critically acclaimed and highly rated for a reason!
This reboot of the classic Looney Tunes Show is a total hit. Set in an episodic format rather than shorts, it tells the story of Bugs living in a suburban neighborhood. It is hilarious, smart, and if you aren't already sold Lola is voiced by the incomparable Kristen Wiig!
Endurance is a survivor-esque kid oriented reality show, where contestants compete for a luxury vacation. Set up as teams of two, every episode the teams compete to win and stay in the game. Rather fun to watch!
This is an amazing documentary about how Scientology was formed and the many crimes that it commits. In it, the religion's founder's ex wife admits how he wanted to start his own religion. This documentary is a frank and startling look at the religion and it's negative impacts on many of it's followers. Definitely worth watching
Sean Saves the World was a funny NBC drama chronicling a dad's struggle to raise his teenage daughter. Amusing, enjoyable, and funny enough this show does a solid job of displaying Sean Hayes strengths. Unfortunately, it was cancelled after one season.
This show is a juicy murder mystery centered around main character Abby's return to her childhood home Harper's Island. Having left years ago after a massacre by serial killer John Wakefield ended her mother's life, she returns for the wedding of her best friend. Every episode of this show is well paced, and the mystery is a fun one. This show even manages to have funny moments. If scary/gory/suspenseful is your shtick you will love this show!
General Hospital is one of the most popular Soap Operas on today for a reason. Set in Port Charles, this soap focuses on the stories of a few prominent families as they get into mischief. Centered around a criminal syndicate, hospital drama, complicated relationships, and more than a few secret familial connections, there is always a juicy reason to watch! If you love Soap Operas you probably already have an opinion of this classic show. (Fun Fact: GH holds the Guinness World Record for longest running American Soap Opera)
