Elfen Lied

Elfen Lied is gory, dark, and very beautifully written. The first episode is infamous for it's heavy handed use of gore, and is not for the faint of heart. If a bit of violence does not deter you, I would highly suggest giving this show a shot. It is a one of a kind Anime that a lot of people will love. (WARNING: This show does over sexualize some of it's younger female characters, which I deducted a star and a half for.)

8 Simple Rules

8 Simple Rules was a really funny sitcom. With the always hilarious John Ritter and Katey Sagal as the parents, this household was constantly filled with funny jokes. After Mr. Ritter's untimely demise, the show naturally dipped in quality when David Spade was brought in. This sweet sitcom also features one of the first main roles of super famous Kaley Cuoco, known today for her role in The Big Bang Theory. I highly suggest checking out a few episodes.

Person of Interest

Person of Interest is an amazing high energy action show, centered around the orders of a sophisticated computer system. Pairing tech talk with action and adventure, this show always finds ways to entertain/excite!

Benched

Benched is a legal comedy that definitely passes the bar! Eliza Coupe shines in this hysterical show, cancelled way too soon by USA.

Angie Tribeca

Angie Tribeca is binge worthy television. Originally airing the series in back to back episodes, this show's premiere was a day and a half event. The show is funny satire, and the always amazing Rashida Jones makes this show a must see!

A cute alien of the week cartoon comedy, Lilo & Stitch is a sweet kid's cartoon. Tackling hard subjects like loneliness while at least attempting to promote positive values add to this shows likable charm. A show the kids (and possibly you) will definitely enjoy

Dead Like Me

In Dead Like Me, before people die reapers come and take their souls. Sound horrifying? It's not! Dead Like Me may have a macabre premise, but it ends up as one of the funniest and most delightfully campy shows a person could ever want. If light humor/cynicism is your brand of humor, give this show a shot!

Hung

You would think a whole show where the premise is a man's endowment would come up short, but surprisingly Hung doesn't. Consistently this show will make you laugh. Though it is very raunchy, some viewers will no doubt find this show to be a sexy comedy worth watching.

Happy Endings

It's rare for a comedy to work, but Happy Endings did! The cast worked well together and the show created laughs in a way that was as far away from formulaic as most major network comedies will ever get. By the time you have finished season three of this show, you will be wondering why it was ever canceled.

Drawn Together

Outrageous and outlandish Drawn Together is funny. It is crude, disparaging, disgusting, and nonsensical but it is funny. Not for kids, this animated comedy features some of the most extreme humor you will find on television. But more often than not, this show is hilarious. Worth watching for those not easily offended.
