Ummm... yes please. The writing is excellent, as is the acting. Tom Ellis has so much charm, he has chemistry with an apple. Seriously. This show better not get cancelled, because it's the best new thing I've seen this season! I'm curious to see how it develops and where the plot lines lead.
Could have been interesting, but ultimately falls flat in my opinion. The acting and dialogue is mostly stilted and the characters just aren't that intriguing. I like the basic premise and the layout is very reminiscent of other sci-fi shows that I've loved in the past, but the show doesn't live up to its potential. After three episodes, I'm calling it quits. Maybe if it gets renewed it'll prove worth coming back to.
Very silly, very romantic, very adorable. At times it can feel sickly sweet, but it never quite becomes too cloying. It's a modern, quirky fairy tale.
Incredibly unpredictable and willing to push, nay jump, the boundaries between what is safe and what is morbidly fascinating. It has a kind of dark humor, particularly regarding the choice of music. If light, happy, upbeat music starts playing, the worst is about to happen. But it is unique. There isn't anything else like it out there.
Absolutely campy and goofy in the best possible way. The show doesn't take itself too seriously, and therefore can get away with so much silliness without becoming stupid or overblown. Very spoofy and clever.
This is not a "quality" show, but then most CW shows aren't "quality." But it is so highly entertaining and addictive that I can't stop watching it. Felicity is by far the most wonderful character. Although the continuing use of flashbacks grows a bit old, at the very least they do still give us a touch of new information/insight into Oliver's character each episode.
Started out with a bang, musically and plot-wise, but in later episodes, I felt my attention waning. It's still fun to watch and I applaud the idea behind it, but ultimately it wasn't fantastic. Funny, but not hilarious; cute, but not wonderful.
A lot of fun... and actually manages to maintain the serial nature throughout its seasons, unlike many shows which end up so obsessed with their characters' problems that the case of the week gets overshadowed. The characters are a lot of fun and it does a pretty good job of discussing issues like rape and sexual assault without glossing over the grey areas. The show definitely holds up over time, though the much later sequel that the fans fought so hard for is a huge let down.
Really addicting and I love the two main actors, but the plot and writing... just gets to be too cliched and cheesy. Couldn't dredge up enough interest to even try the second season. The idea has a lot of potential, but I don't like where they went with it.
I'm surprised that this only ended up being a mini-series. Definitely could have been expanded. Has a definite Buffy/Angel vibe! Lots of fun, decent acting, and is definitely entertaining. The only trouble is finding somewhere to watch it...
