What´s to say... I MISSED you girls!
I love that they brought back so many of the old characters and did a great job of reviving the scenery.
However I have to admit, they could have set the pace a little bit faster. But this might go back to the fact that I recognized many scenes from the trailers. I am looking forward to the second episode and the new drama those three generations´lives will enfold.
One of my favorites. Veronica is a great main character. Smart, original, independant and despite a lot of female characters out there, doesn´t have to be saved all the time. THe dialogues are great and there is still enough romance if you are looking for that.
There is actually a follow up movie (kickstarter) if you haven´t heard of it yet.
Marvelous! I don´t remember another show so dark and intense. It gives me the feeling of almost to much, but still keeps me on the edge of my seat. Flesh and Bone shows you a dark and dangerous world right just in reach of normal people´s everyday life. It seems believable for me, that art and ballet could indeed produce this kind of environment, just as this kind of environment might bring one to this world of art.
I got hooked for Fallons's character alone. She is hilarious! I love her super craziness and the way she goes through life. Nothing realistic of course, but very entertaining.
i have to admit some uncertainty about another production of "Anne". I loved the books as a child and I enjoyed the movies, but wasn´t sure how they would go about the show.
After finishing the first four episodes I can say I enjoy the show very much. I think it is great for children, but also has enough real drama in it for adults. Of course, if you have already been an "Anne"-Fan before, I would call it a must-have. I look forward to share Anne´s journey and to have more time to watch her development than in the movies.
I loved to wach this show with my family as a child. Still love it and would call it a "classic" for me. It´s funny and heartwarming and has the charm shows from this time had. I love Fran, but my favorite would be Niles, whose sarcasm is just too good. Get some junkfood and maybe a friend and forget reallife´s troubles for a day or weekend.
FIrst of all the idea is something else. I enjoyed watching Christine getting into life as an escort, loosing, finding and inventing herself in it. The way the show is made seems somewhat artistic to me, so that is good as well. There are parts, where the story might go along a little too slow or the focus might be a bit too much on the sex scenes, but I have a feeling that is intended. You may like that more or less. All together I quite enjoyed watching and would recommend it.
unfortunatly it mostly comes across as cheap.
Starts slow and continues even slower. The main characters are quite annoying and can´t get me interessted at all. Most of the time I wanted to scream at them. If any of them lives through the apocalypse I would be surprised. Probably won´t watch it anymore.
Why, why, why did they have to make it like some kind of documentation? I was looking forward to it, hoping to find some sort of gossip-girl like guilty pleasure tv-show. Instead it´s like super fake reallife tv. So disappointed. Maybe some people like this style, but I find it too fake and annoying. Sorry.
