Awkward is really relatable, not to mention it mixes comedy with real-life problems and that's a plus in my book. An attractive cast is just the icing on the cake!
I'll admit, I hadn't heard much at all about Robert Durst before this docuseries aired. His name sounded vaguely familiar but I couldn't pinpoint why, but let me tell you, I know the name now. This series is beyond interesting and keeps your thoughts on overdrive the entire time. I'm a sucker for the real life mysteries and dramas so this is right up my ally. The producers did a fairly good job at letting you decide who to believe and what really happened considering the evidence stacked against Robert Durst. It's unreal how much legitimate footage and evidence they are able to acquire to show the viewer and take you through the years of trials as if it were happening for the first time. Lastly, the one on one interview with the man himself is probably the most important factor in this series. I'm really excited to continue watching every week and discover more of what went down (and continues to go down).
When Lost first debuted I was a superfan but it's a hard show to keep up with and I soon stopped watching before it ended. Then, years later, I attempted to watch it again. A really great binge watching show but I still think it lasted way longer than it should have.
Ohhhh, Dexter. You sexy, psychopathic killer, you. LOVED the concept of this show beyond belief, and the first 4ish seasons were beyond well written.. but I think in some ways the show went on too long and lost its edge. There were some serious jaw dropping, jump out of your seat and squeal at the top of your lungs moments but by the end of the show it wasn't doing it for me anymore. Still totally recommend this show to anybody, but the ending could have been much more creative.
Possibly one of my favorite shows on television. Drool worthy cast and very real situations. It's so interesting to see what goes on through a professionals eyes and adding to that their personal life stories makes for really great TV. So many cliffhangers and "WOW" moments that it keeps me coming back for more!
2 Broke Girls is NEXT LEVEL television. The comedy is top notch and Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs have such great chemistry. It's constantly pushing the limits and always keeps me laughing! Love this show.
The 100 had me hooked from the first few episodes and only continues to pull me in deeper and deeper into the storyline. I personally think it's unlike anything on television right now and constantly has you wondering what will happen next. Not to mention there are multiple actors in this series that I haven't seen on anything else before but can't wait to! Great casting, great writing and great storyline :)
SHAME on you if you haven't been watching SHAMEless from Season 1. Need to feel better about yourself and your life? Watch Shameless! Need more boobies and butts in your life? Watch Shameless! Need to grow invested in a fictional character to the point of rooting for them to succeed when they're so clearly a hot mess? Watch Shameless! Need to walk away from a 1hr long TV show thinking "Did that really just happen?!" WATCH SHAMELESS. And how about the lack of cursing in your life at the moment? Shameless has the answer!
It's not rocket science.. it's basic math.
GREAT Series + KICKASS Cast = Shameless.
LEGIT Writing + WTF Storyline = Shameless.
Emmy Rossum + Nudity = Shameless.
You're Welcome.

**okay… you can do it… just type it… do it now… before you change your mind!**
I would describe Z Nation as a very similar concept to The Walking Dead… but better!
THERE. I SAID IT.
I never could hop on The Walking Dead train, at least not completely. I was like a stow away, jumping off at Season 2. But Z Nation is legit. At least, for me, it's more up my ally. I do have a feeling that the Zombie series are going to take the same turn as the Vampire series and get old quick, but so far I'm hooked. I love the characters, I love that there's a guy at the center of it all kind of watching the world fall apart like a very morbid reality show, and I love that after most every episode you're left wondering what the hell is going to happen next. Where exactly can they take this storyline? And they do! They take it somewhere that does not disappoint week after week! Can't wait to see what is awaiting my eager eyes for next season!
I'm not much of a reality show kind of girl, and I've never been a dancer (though, drunk me begs to differ), but for some reason with each new season of DWTS I'm hooked! Much like other celebrity competition shows, the decency of the season always depends on who they cast, but even the seasons I don't expect to like I find myself coming back more and more interested. It's a show about personal and physical growth, and it's always heartwarming to watch the contestants form an unbreakable bond with their partners while finding themselves in the process. Not to mention, it helps that the judges and the hosts provide great commentary and some unscripted comedy. I'd choose Dancing With The Stars over every singing competition show any day - and that says a lot considering I'm a singer.
