Van Helsing

Was hoping for so much more. Such a shame, as I love a good vampire hunt! To me, Van Helsing was a mix of Z Nation and The Strain, nothing original, with a confused storyline that wasn't gripping, characters that I didn't feel for, and vampires that looked liked zombies. Won't be sticking around for this.

Whether they are bitter or better, this 'second chance at fame' for Project Runway contestants is a hit or miss each season. The All-Star title also does not insinuate they are the best from the past seasons, mostly just the most entertaining. It is a reality show so you can't blame them!

Alex (the main character) already has too much going on. She's the top female cardio thoracic surgeon who can 'do it all', with a rock-star gay ex husband, two kids, a super sexy top-doctor boyfriend who wants more of a commitment, and a hot Aussie ex lover who is the new chief of surgery. There's no room for any other character development! It's too solely focused. Even in House we were able to get attached to Cameron and the others. This needs a little more rounding to get viewers hooked. It has potential!

What a journey! I'm still in awe of the creative perspective and direction this show took. It explores every aspect of what we, as humans, wonder about The End. The one thing that remains so significant is love. It was impossible for us not to be moved by the intelligent way the writers and actors portrayed life, loss, love, and humanity. A great 3-part series worth watching.

I know it's what everyone else will say, but, Sawyer is back!! I love a pending apocalypse, but this series is a little over-ambitious for what the writers are offering. The secret divide between husband and wife is interesting, but the 'invasion' (of drones?), the lost son, the 'factory', the leader of the Occupation, the rebels, the new bar, the weird (alien?) babysitter - it's all over the place. If they find a clear direction, this will do well, if not; one and done.

Jane Lynch is a brilliantly sarcastic host to this game show which makes couples game night actually look fun! The celebrity guests are impressive and it is nice to see them with their walls down, instead of scripted interviews. It makes them look like regular humans you'd all want to be friends with. How fresh!

A perfect replacement for the dwindling Grey series. An interesting concept of a high intensity plot each time, with loveable characters and some juicy potential relationships. Plus, who doesn't love Marcia Gay Harden?! A captivating and emotional medical drama at the perfect time. Love it! Hope it stays a long while!

A self-involved millennial who dresses way too provocatively for her career and uses her social media obsessed brain to help her hard-shelled colleague loosen up, while he helps her smarten up. This show was actually good! The title turned people off of it, but it was a very funny look into how brainwashed some people are by social media.

I really wanted to guilty-pleasure-secretly-love this series but I was lost. Thrown in the mud one second and rich the next? Bitchy younger wife. Blah. Secret affairs. Already? Over it before it really began. Sorry Chase.

The first episode started off sooo wrong and cheesy, but if you stuck through it you'd see it got hilarious! And keeps getting funnier. It's a laugh track sitcom, so prepare yourself for PG jokes and laughter when there shouldn't be, but it's better than expected. It won't be something you anticipate every week, but a good time-passer.
