Comedy Showtime

The series will follow a talented and young African-American comedian (played by “SNL” alum Jay Pharoah), who tries to navigate the tricky waters of maintaining his credibility as his star power rises and he begins to transition over into the mainstream, afraid of becoming what he calls “white famous.” In addition to co-creating the series, Foxx is also set to guest star in a recurring role in the half-hour comedy.
