Senjou no Valkyria: Gallian Chronicles is an anime adaptation of a role playing game made for the PlayStation 3. The story takes place in the 1930's, in Europe, which is divided into the Empire and the Federation. The Empire and Federation have each for a long time striven to become the ruler of Europe, it is this goal that leads the two military powers into a war. We follow a small independent nation that is located in the worst possible place, right between the Federation and Empire. Gallia is also a source for Ragnite, which makes it even more wanted by the superpowers. This is the story of how one squad leaders strategy leads to the defeat of the Imperial Army.
