Is It Me is a dating comedy web series that relates to the many frogs someone has to kiss before finding that one for them. Is It Me shows many people that they aren’t the only people out there looking for that significant other and running into dead ends. The series also sheds some light on the male and female perspectives of dating. The series came to mind when many friends told me about all the horrible dates they have been on in their quest to find love. Therefore actual encounters have been taken and have been sewn into the episodes to show audiences they aren’t the only ones going on bad dates and there is hope, while giving them something to laugh about. The series centers around six friends. One named Julian who has just been dumped by his girlfriend and trying to get back into dating. Julian’s best friend Alana, who had a bad date while searching for that guy for her. Olivia, Alana’s roommate, who believes she’s got guys down to a t. Brandon, who has a huge crush on Olivia, but doesn’t know how to approach her. Nick and Melanie, who are already in a relationship with each other, but are experiencing a roller-coaster ride.
