Great Expectations

If you have great expectations from this mini-series you will be disappointing. The show is slow and quite boring. Do not watch it.

I had read the book but couldn't remember what it was about. Took the first 30 mins to remind me. Kept true to the parts I remember.

One thing to remember about this is that it is based on a book that is considered literature. This means that the story was written for the sole purpose of telling a story (not entertainment), so it will seem slow and boring to those who want the excitement of modern-day productions.

A new adaptation of a classic. It holds true to the story but is missing some of the magic of the original black and white film version
