Extras is a British television sitcom about extras working on film sets and in theatre. The series is co-produced by the BBC and HBO, and is written and directed by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, both of whom also star in it.
From a chuckle to a guffaw, these are the ones to avoid watching while wearing headphones in the quiet carriage on the train. Of course some of them only think they are funny, but don;t worry, they include a laugh track, to show you where the jokes were meant to be.
