"Aldnoah.Zero" is a mecha anime television series. In 1972 a hypergate was found during Apollo 17's landing on the moon. Since then migration and colonisation has occurred on Mars which has created a disconnect between the people living on both planets. This eventually culminated into a war later to be known as Heaven's Fall. 15 years after the event both races are poised for their second inter-galactic fight.
