The story focuses on Tatsumi, a young villager who travels to the Capital to raise money for his home only to discover a strong corruption in the area. The assassin group Night Raid recruits the young man to help them in their fight against the Empire to fight its corruption as one of their assassins.
Stopped watching because it felt more like a chore than a pasttime

I have different criteria for something that counts as an anime than most people that being a show:
-must have an anime style
-an interconnected story line (can be an anthology)
-doesn't necessarily need to be from japan or adapted from manga
Includes, but not limited to fantasy, creatures/monsters (of any sorts), out-of-this-world, gore/horror, etc.
