For what is supposed to be a legal drama, there was too much investigating but still a good show and sad that it only lasted one season

The show is good when it comes to detective shows and plot. The main character's personality is a bit like a watered down Sherlock Holmes but still intriguing. However with the time period in which the show is supposed to be set, it bothers me that they use terminology and lingo that is outside of that period and more modern
