Afterlife is a British television drama series, produced by independent production company, Clerkenwell Films for the ITV Network. First broadcast in 2005, the series follows the activities of a psychic medium who appears to have the ability to communicate with the spirits of the dead. Despite being a British production it aired on Australia's Nine Network a few weeks before the UK. The show ran for two seasons, and after the end of the second season ITV decided not to renew it.
