Stark drama based on the notorious Christie serial killer case. After subletting his upstairs London flat to a young man and his pregnant wife, John Christie announces that he is an accomplished abortionist and agrees to perform the illegal operation on the man's wife. This leads to a chain of events that result in one of Britain's greatest injustices.
