This Anime uses the Konami code on your heart. If you like Retro games, Arcades or Street Fighter, then you're in for a treat.
Phoning in my 100th review on Sidereel with a review on the 100.
A teenage boy forms a new relationship with his hand, while he tries to understand the changes his body is going through.
Entourage for nerds. Con Man, short for Convention Man, is a comedy about life as a B-list celebrity. This is a fictional copyright-friendly account of Alan Tudyk's life after the cult Sci-Fi hit Firefly was cancelled. This is a solidly decent comedy that you can enjoy even if you've never heard of Firefly. I would recommend this to anyone who gets excited about Comi-Con. Available on Vimeo, and Steam.
Based on the popular web comic of the same name, Cyanide & Happiness is an excellent and extremely funny black comedy cartoon sketch show that you can watch for free on Youtube. Not recommended for children.
A bunch of Sci-Fi short stories, similar to Dimension 404. This was a decent enough web series. You can watch the first episode for free on regular YouTube, the rest is behind a pay wall on YouTube Red. I would recommend watching this for free on the 30 day trial, along with the brilliant movie from Rooster Teeth, Lazer Team.
From the creator of Adventure Time, comes an intergalactic adventure across space-time. Join our 4 mighty heroes, and Catbug, as they fight for honour across the universe. Available for free on YouTube, I would highly recommend this show to anyone who likes the idea of Adventure Time in Spaaaaaace Spaaaaace Spaaaace Spaaace...
Nathan Fielder is both funny, and a little sad, as at the end of each episode, he will try to make friends with someone, only to get shot down because he is so weird. There is something enigmatically captivating about Nathans vulnerable and quirky personality mixing with real world people. I don't usually like this kind of show, but Nathan For You manages to breathe fresh air into a stale format.
From the creator of Rick and Morty, and Community, Dan Harmon stars in this underrated and overlooked show from the History Channel. Each episode runs for about 10 minutes, and has great guest stars each week, including Jack Black, Aubrey Plaza, Sarah Silverman, Nick Kroll, Kristen Schaal, Andy Dick, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Ron Funches and more. I would highly recommend watching this if you get the chance.
As far-fetched as the premise sounds, Rusty The Depressive Psychic Genie Dog From The Future is really just a cross-breed of Downward Dog and Wilfred. It's dogmatic approach is a bit rough, but the whole thing runs around 13 minutes. I would recommend sniffing this out if you already like this breed of show.
