God Friended Me

every episode is a real tears trigger. Miles gets suggeties via Facebook to help someone after a search (which does not always go well) he helps the person with things like processing a deceased loved one, finding a lost parent or realizing a dream.
It reminds me a bit of "early edition" where Gary gets the paper of tomorrow and tries to avoid bad news and "touch" where everything turns out to be connected (which also happens in this series) Touch and God friended me in addition also in common that there is going into Fibonacci.

God friended me is a wonderful series to watch (whether you believe in god or not) and that Joe Morton plays in it which I find fantastic in, among others, Eureka is only a small extra gift

Between the 4 of them the lead acteurs got more than 150 years of TV experience so bad acting is not going to be a problem at this show. 4 old favorites together in a room trow some jokes at it and you got your self a hit. after watching the first episode i think the show is nice. the group is a little bit to random to my tasted (1 black guy, 1 gay guy, 1 woman en 1 just crazy white guy (probably juwes but thay didn't say that yet), so every "problem" and "strukels in the past" can be talked about)

2 episodes in and i think the show is ok (fore a 30 minute comedy) it's a mix between "the middle" and "blackish". The lead role is the mother of a family of 3 kids. it's basically here wine about the things she doesn't like in here life. and make some jokes around that.
it's ok but don't think it going to last long.

Afther watching the first eppisode i am not sure what to think about the show. I think it's got great potential there is a lot of drama to work out and to go into. (maybe to much fore 1 episode) but 1 got 2 big problems rite now what can make me stop watching in the future. firts of is the camara works. it got a lot of moments the camara is zooming in (or out) on sombady ore sudentley moves. it's great for effects but it also make me a little bit nauseous (literally, thats why i never can watch home movie fore more than 10 minuts) the second one is that i see a lot of similarities to Glee but i now it's not going to be like Glee (that is les drama more (well) Glee) hopefully that is somthing the show can shake of. So maybe the 2,5 stars the show is getting now is going to be 4 or maybe 5 stars but rite now i have my douds.
(ps sorry fore the bad grammar English is not my native language (it's Dutch)

the description indicated that this was a show for teens so it was not on my list of series that I went to watch this year. purely by chance i watcht the pilot and i found it very suitable for "adults" (i am 33 so not realy a teen anymore, maybe by heart but not by age)

it is a drama comedy par excellence, the subjects that are treated are drama (overcoming cancer, separating parents, siblings with problems etc) but it is light and humorous. The first episode gives me good hope for the rest and I am sure to keep looking at this sesoen.

The first thought when reading the description of this series was this is "two and a half men "but different. After seeing the first episode, I have not changed my mind very much. The caracters may be slightly different but the idea is the same. 2 brothers live together and suddenly there is a child comes along. However, I think that it will be a nice series. especially because I do not expect much depth of my comedies if there are nice jokes in it its okeey fore the 20-30 minuts to spend

Great casting. Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother) as Count Olaf
and Patrick Warburton (Rules of Engagement) as Lemony Snicket (narrator) i meen that voice in combination white his text just fantastic.

I don't now the books so can't say if its a like but sometimes is a good thing.
al the story's are 2 parts of 50 minutes, so a bit long.
