A funny show with constant promise that is almost never delivered upon. The first season is funny, fresh and interesting, especially because the focus is on the developing friendship between Max and Caroline (who are the heart of the show). As the show goes on (especially season 3 onwards), episodes begin to center more on gimmicky plots and absurd side characters than on the bond between the two mains. The show would do well to cultivate greater bonds and identities among the characters in addition to the humor each episode already provides.
Also, this is perhaps not the best show to watch if you are sensitive to racial/gender/sexual/etc. stereotypes as you will inevitably feel insulted. This is because the stereotypes are embedded in the characters themselves.
