This is a different look at a family with a gay son. Even thought the main character is gay that is not the main point of the story. There is a lot of developing characters, inc the opposite twins, and a pregnant sister with a dead baby daddy.
The main character is not to flamboyant, which I like. The mum reminds me of a smarter, less clueless Marie from "everybody loves Raymond". If you are going to watch this show give it until the 2nd episode before you make up your mind

amazing show that brings medical and drama together

Any achievement that Younger accomplishes is thanks to Sutton Foster who at 40, and despite the circumstances, she's placed in, she is somehow more believable at playing a twentysomething than the 27-year-old Hilary Duff.
