You're The Worst is my romantic dream. For closet romantics everywhere, and people who want to fall hopelessly in love without ever receiving a bouquet of flowers. Few shows have a second season as good as their first, and YTW pulls off one that is even better. Aya Cash & Chris Geere give performances that take a humorous (often doomed) relationship and makes it something that is really beautiful to watch amidst the madness. YTW shows us that love is not quite so simple or near as complicated as much of television makes out, and it's definitely not always as obvious. YTW makes it clear that love isn't all "I love you"s and sweet moments. It's staying even when you don't know why you do, it's changing because the other person needs you to, and it's truly "putting someone's feeling above your own". Even when they're just as horrible as you are.
