I grew up on watching TV Shows of the 50s,60s& 70s ! I spent more time in the 80's working & Partying to watch as much tv as listening to radio. I also grew up on the Radio stations of NYC in the late 50s&60s , which taught me Music also.I love Sex,Drugs & R&R but don't abuse anyone or anything , Just saying !

Seems there lots of attempts to copy CHEERS with a update on the clientele ie. UNDATEABLE , but this to me was one of the best recent comedies out there. It's just Fun watchin The Asian matriarch of the family running everyone , due to their being afraid of her . The Boss , son of the last owner has quit being a lawyer and runs the Bar he bought from his Dad to keep it in the family.. Of course the local Lady of the Night and her goofy son are regulars , all the customers are a bit of a kick !
I been trying to enjoy this show , I'm not sure it always makes sense , but it seems like the writers aren't really sure where to go with the story-line. It reminds me of 4 or 5 Sci-Fi Shows but added Religious Biblical overtones to the story-line in Earth's Future !
Its LETTERMAN , let him go spend time with his family , ah yes we remember the guy who should have replaced Johnny Carson , but moved away from NBC and did outstanding at #CBS
Great Humor , surrounding a couple of friends , one the shy bar owner and the other his Casanova buddy , plus all the regular bar customers and staff who are all a bit nerdy and all a bit oddball-ish that makes them in their reality UNDATEABLE !
I gave it 1/2 a Star , only because it takes place in my Hometown , NYC .I was born in Manhattan and raised in Brooklyn ! This is a story of People who love playing in the REALTY GAME , as a Reality Show and its about greed and blah-blah -Boring reality BS
Its got some risque jokes and there is some funny button pushing and sillyness, The Carmichael Show has possibilities
but everyone delivers well . I just need to see some more to decide ,
But so far , so good !
Sorry , so far so silly ! Just not that Funny , I may look at another episode or 2 , in case the writers have an Epiphany !
A good tale of the Good Ole Days of Magic in England , being brought to its use for the Government in protecting the British Isles back in the time of the Napoleonic Wars !
