The Good Wife stars Julianna Margulies as Alicia Florrick, a woman whose husband, a Chicago district attorney, is sent to prison, forcing her to go to work as a junior associate in a law firm to support her two children. As her career starts to progress, her husband is exonerated, and Alicia must wrestle with her allegiance to her husband, and new romance and career opportunities.
Legal dramas are the modern man's duels. Two wits (sometimes in wigs) up against one another until justice is served. Or not, depending on who your opponent is. Also, bonus points for the "Order! Order in the court!" shout.
